ODiiPick-Up Pro - 36" Reaching Claw Grabbing Tool with Magnet & Mini Flashlight

Would have been 5 stars but the flashlight has a short in it and does not work. Some magazines were behind a drawer that would not come out and the flexible thin end was able to retrieve them. Totally amazing! UPS was several days late delivering this item. Just wish the little flashlight worked.

My husband bought this because he kept dropping his phone or other stuff in or behind the couch. I thought it was neat and didn't give it a second thought because I tend to be careful with whatever I'm carrying. Except for the times I'm not.One morning, I woke up super late for an important meeting and scrambled to get dressed, eat and almost sprint out the door. Phone in one hand, car key in the other, I quickly approached my car. I looked at the phone, my boss was calling incessantly, probably to ask why I wasn't showing up. In the chaos, I tried answering the phone but accidentally dropped the car key. Straight. In. The gutter. I freaked but remembered the ODii claw. It was just what I needed, saving my day from a disaster. Now we have an extra one in the car as well, because you never know when the car key just decides to escape your grasp for the freedom of the sewers. 😒

The media could not be loaded.  We got the ODii Pick-Up PRO because we had troubles dealing with clogged drains.At the kitchen sink, grease and small particles of food can make their way into the drain. In the bathroom, hair and soap scum are the worst. Over time, these substances can build up and begin to line the drain, and then one day, another piece of food or another clump of hair is all it takes to block the drain.This has happened to us a couple of times in the past.Pickup pro is our solution for preventing this and it works great! Once every month, I would stick this into the toilet drain and pull out chunks of hair! I love it because we stay clean, its super easy to use and the claws are strong!I don't use this much but Pickup pro also comes with a magnet that can hold up to 3 pounds.No more clogging problems! I have not opened the box because it is a gift. However it does look like it may have been opened previously. Also, I'm a bit confused. The description says it will pick up 10 pounds, but the description on the box I received says 5 pounds.....

getting this to work properly is quite cumbersome.

Just having a device that can grab items from in between tight spaces is enough for me, this device delivers on all fronts. The grab power that is achieved is impressive, other models similar to this one are not as strong and cannot grab or pick up larger objects. Finally it features multiple uses such as a telescopic wire, magnet and flash light. I never would have thought to buy one of these but now that I did I am glad to have it around the house!

As a mom with 4 kids and a minivan, you have no idea how handy this is... how did I live without this handy gadget? I think my kids love it more than me. Super handy and very happy with it.

Excellent as a long reach pick-up tool and stores nicely in the retracted form. I used it to reach into the fuel tank of the tractor to pickup the fuel can lid that I dropped in. The light didn't penetrate the colored propane and I had to fish around for it but the grip was excellent. It will definately be handy in the future.

Got my Odii in the mail 2 weeks ago and it has been a helpful gadget to have around. Used it to fish a toy out of the toilet my 3 year old flushed in it. Pulled large deposits of hair out of our bathroom sink and the bathtub drain. The last use was while working on my truck I lost a nut and as per usual it was impossible to locate. I used the magnet like it was a mine sweeper and found that dam nut. I have the smaller version in my car and its fantastic.

Half the 36" length is the thick handle portion; I needed to retrieve something that had fallen in between the balcony floorboards, the narrow portion of the tool was too short to reach the object. Had the tool really been 36" long it would have worked.

My husband and I each bought an ODii. Such a handy and practical tool especially with 4 girls under 6. You can’t possibly image the stuff that gets stuck and jammed in the most frustrating places. He uses his in the garage on his car! Super strong claw grip, compact and durable...we love it!
