Great cleats for Schwinn IC4 bike.
I just got a Schwinn IC4 stationary bike for using inside during the snowy weather when I can’t bike outside. I had trouble finding out what cleat you need on your bike shoes to connect to the bike pedal. These SM-SH56 cleats are exactly what I needed. They were so easy to install on the bike shoes, even for an old grandmother! The metal is very sturdy. It is very easy to turn your foot a bit and click in and out of the bike pedal. It is so much better to spin when your foot is connected to the pedal as you can pull up and push down. You get a better workout. They were a great price also. I recommend these.

Great Replacements
These worked nearly perfectly. I bought these to replace the originals that were NOT multi-directional release. While they are easier to release, it's not significant. I can certainly play with the other settings to make it easier but thought there would be a bigger difference directly after the install. Anyway, they work and don't have any true complaints. Maybe my expectations were out of whack, so temper yours, too.

The real deal.
These are the real deal. I was worried about fakes, but at least the set I got is working great and appears to be the real deal. I've been a huge fan of the MR cleat for well over 10 years. I use them primarily for road biking, and I've never failed to blow out when I need to, while they hold me in beautifully otherwise.

Get these Shimano Cleats, the Knockoff Brand Suck
I bought a popular knock off brand of these cleats simply to save about $6-$7. That was a mistake because I had issues with the left cleat not disengaging. I bought a pair of these Shimano cleats and they have been great. I should’ve went with my gut instinct but in the end I’m happy with the Shimano quality.

I guess these are now "the old kind" but they're still excellent
Easier to use, durable, should be replaced more frequently than you think. Yes, this is now "the old style" but they still work as well as you remember. Frankly I'm not sure what good an upgrade could do and am not bothering to find out.

Works great for spin class
I got these cleats for the spin class at my gym and have been so happy with them. It took a couple of minutes to get the angles dialed in for my stance with my shoes but once I did it made a huge difference. I have noticed a huge difference in my power output and the overall workouts using these cleats. Best of all, they are really affordable compared to some of the other cleats out there and that was a huge bonus for me.

These hold securely, but are easy to clip in and out of
I like being able to clip in, but the road bike cleats I've tried are too hard to clip out of and uncomfortable to walk on. I have a couple pair of mountain bike shoes that have the SPD cleats recessed so I can clip in and also walk normally in them. I prefer these cleats over the regular Shimano SPD cleats because they clip into the pedals easily and securely, but are also very easy to clip out of at a moment's notice. So far, knock on wood, I haven't had an embarrassing (and potentially dangerous) incident of falling because I couldn't clip out fast enough.
