Purchased this product to demonstrate to my cna students of what physical restraints actually look like (along with the legal requirements and SAFETY protocols relating to the use and obtaining of consent/physician orders)

I purchased these for an elderly parent who would continually scratch themselves due to itching (diabetic). I tried the glove version but they didn't work as I would have liked. As much as I hated placing these on my elderly parent, they helped contain their scratching. The only thing is they are hard and too stiff, and the netting on the one side for ventilation doesn't work as well as it should due to the other side toward the palm being heavily padded and stiff.

While the glove itself is excellent, the secure straps are poorly designed. They are extremely difficult to fasten correctly, which compromises patient safety. This is a significant disappointment.

My mom has Alzheimer's and recently started scratching at herself. These Lmaray Dementia Gloves have been a lifesaver. These gloves prevent her from hurting herself and keep her wounds clean, while also providing a comforting, soft fabric for her sensitive skin. The breathable mesh and long, secure strap keep her comfortable while ensuring she cannot easily remove the gloves. They offer peace of mind for me and ensure she stays safe and healthy. While never an ideal situation, I highly recommend these for those caring for loved ones with a tendency to scratch.
