Cheap and usefull
You can get 2 of this instead of Raspberry Pi price. I'm using this for my Klipper setup and it's performing excellent. If you are planning to use it with the screen, then get a better power supply. Type-c connection from laptop is not enough if screen is connected. Easy to set up and well documented with instructions. The only issue that I want to mention is heating problem. If you are planning to use it for Klipper and run long 3d print process, better to get some active cooling (included heat sink is not enough)

Does Pi thing
Super easy to get klipper hooked up to a custom cartesian printer by usb. Connectivity has been great and the wifi has been solid - no dropped connection with Moonraker so far. 5v fan port which can be specified in klipper alongside the temp sensor for the cb1, extremely simple to get set up. I have not used the adxl or camera function but that'll be next

Best raspberry pi alternative for 3d printing Period.
This board is hands down the best. I'm hoping they drop a next gen I'll be purchasing it immediately. This was the most user friendly installation of any pi board I've ever used. Setting up klipper screen in seconds. Webcam in seconds. It is lightning fast for my project and runs super cold compared to other Pi boards. Plus I can power it directly off my printer power supply. The wifi is really good and super simple to setup. And tons of ports to choose from. Id take this over my raspberry pi 3b any day for 3d printing. Love BTT literally the best 3d printing hardware store going.

It’s okay, but can be janky.
It does run kipper, but it can be janky to setup and I had issues with some of the ones that I ordered.Being able to run it off of the power supply is definitely super nice though. If that is important to you, then you should definitely try this out.

Great low cost board to run Klipper
I'm really happy with the BTT Pi.I'm using this for my Sovol SV06 and it's really stepped up the capabilities! The big bonus is being able to power it off the 24v printer power supply. The onboard WiFi is great to have so now I don't need to keep my printer next to my network switch, giving me more options.I used a generic ADXL345 with the onboard GPIO and did resonance calibration and that made a huge difference in the quality of prints.

Do not order from seller KingPrint
UPDATE: The bad screw terminals are a common issue with these boards direct from BTT so it’s not really the sellers fault. However, sending used products as new could definitely be. Because I had two boards on hand I decided to just swap terminals and repair one of them so I had something that worked.Original Review:First board I received had a defective screw terminal on the HE output so I order a replacement through Amazon. I receive the board and unbox it only to find mysterious deformations on one of the HE terminal screws as if it was stuck and someone was trying to screw it in only to mangle the screw. I tell myself “it couldn’t be. Was I sent a used replacement from someone else that had had the same issue as me?”. I grab my screwdriver and with great reluctance attempt to screw the screw all the way in. No dice. It’s stuck. See the attached picture to make clear what I’m referring to. This is the same screw that was stuck on the board I was trying to replace. It doesn’t go down far enough to clamp onto a ferrule. All the others screw down fine.So not only does this seller send defective parts. They send used defective parts labeled as new. Don’t buy from them.

The hardware seems fine but...
It is a nice unit with features that are helpful to the 3d printer, but omg the the armbian fork that btt is using is horrible. had to reflash multiple times to get a stable Klipper install through Kiauh. Each time it looked good but then a different issue would arise. I think all is good now, but it's only been up for a couple of days at this point. If nothing, else the higher frame rate on crowsnest is the most notable improvement over the pi1.

Where has this been all my life?
Fantastic for 3D printing. Easy to set up. BTT’s CB1 GitHub has an OS with a whole Klipper environment, (mainsail, moonraker, and some other things) all set up and ready to go the second you put the flashed SD in. Made my first Klipper printer very easy to set up. Also has a slot for an SPI screen, as well as an accelerometer, and comes with cables for both. I prefer this over a raspberry pi for 3D printers now.And of course, rubber ducky is included.Always love BTT’s stuff!
