Zuke's Training Treats are the one bite-sized treat that my dogs really enjoy. My doggies like the chicken recipe, but they seem to enjoy the pork recipe even better! It is also great for crushing the pellets and mixing it with their regular kibble to change things up a bit.This is a moist treat, therefore, it is more susceptible to spoilage than dry treats. I have ordered this product 5 times, and out of that, one shipment was already spoiled when I got it. These treats have a strong odor, similar to garlic breath, but this last shipment the odor was very foul. From now on, I will inspect the entire product before using it. I recommend you do the same if you decide to purchase this product.All was not lost, as I promptly rang up Amazon (seller and shipper), and customer service set me up with a replacement shipment. I will update my review once I receive the new shipment.Update: Amazon completely replaced my order and the new shipment's pellets were shiny and smooth (as they should be).

These treats are perfectly sized for training, rewarding, and reinforcing positive behavior. I didn't necessarily like having to break up larger treats in an effort to make the portions appropriate for repeated treating, e.g. training sessions. They are small enough to give repeatedly during training sessions and (by all outward appearances) pack plenty of flavor to keep my pitty interested in the reward. I've observed no stomach upset, abnormal bowel movements, or any other digestive abnormalities which makes me feel quite good about using these during training sessions. Another advantage to their small size is that if we go in public it's easy to keep a bunch of these in my pocket for reinforcing positive public behavior. They work out great for my purposes, my dog looks forward to receiving them, moving forward I think these are my go-to dog treats.

We have a Shi Tzu who can be extraordinarily picky wit prepared foods and treats. She generally turns her nose up at biscuit type treats (milk bone, etc), won't touch stuff from the local gourmet dog bakery. Stuff most dogs would rip your arm off for, this one ignores. Neighbors dogs think we are great, they get all the stuff she won't touch. The Zukes treats however do get her attention. The Chicken was the first we tried and surprisingly she went for it, at times demanding it when she did something SHE decided was worthy of a treat. With the pork, there is no question, that gets her attention. It may be the small size and it's softer as well as the flavor that she goes for, but this has worked. Problem we had was that it was hard to find in our local rural area. One grocery store about 30 miles away carried some flavors in the smaller packages. Found this on Amazon and solved the problem. Slip an order in about once a month to 6 weeks and we stay stocked up.

Our GoldenDoodle Martin loves these. They're terrific to take on a walk to reward not charging ahead of the leash, staying on the path, etc. It's less than a bite (they're about the size of a pencil eraser) and don't take any time to reward your sweetie (unlike a big MilkBone™ or similar). We keep some in our pockets with the keys, in the car, by the door and the bed, etc. They're great, though I haven't yet actually tasted one, so can't rate that!

My dog really likes these training treats. She is very picky so I'm glad she likes them. My main problem is my own sensitivity to smell. They have such a strong odor. The moment I open the bag I have to turn away. My boyfriend can be in another room and he'll mmediately know I opened them. He dislikes the "nasal discomfort" also, but handles it better than me. I'm still going to continue purchasing since my dog loves them

These treats get hard a little faster than the other kinds of treats but that is okay because they are filled with preservatives and the extra unhealthy things that are in other brands. I don't use them as training treats, they are their daily treats and my pups love them!

My dogs love this product. I have a German Shepherd puppy and she is training so well with these treats. I wish they came sooner in her training when I first got her. My older dog who thinks he doesn't think he has to learn new tricks because he has it like that is willing to go the extra mile to earn a treat.

I bought one each of the chicken and pork. And then bought two more of each after I ran out of the pork. Bad mistake, re: the chicken. Once I switched to the chicken, my 6 month 25 lb. pup had 24 hrs. of vomiting. He'd had about 20 treats in three days (approx. the same amount when I was using the pork), and then started the vomiting. I noticed only one reference on the web of Zuke's Chicken as being the culprit of the same problem. I stopped the chicken treats immediately, and the vomiting stopped as well.I've since gone back to Zuke's Pork treats without a problem. I don't KNOW that the chicken was the issue, but I'd rather just chuck the two packages into the trash unopened.

My 4 month old husky loves these. We use them for training as they are super small and healthier than other treats you would find on the market. Had originally bought a smaller bag at Petsmart but opted for this one as it's bigger and will last longer. Definitely repurchasing!
