If I use on glass lantern, will it hold up outdoors?

Probably not. Its a thin acrylic paint. Maybe if you used a spray sealer.

How do I thin the paint? It is way too thick.I’m a beginner.

It’s made to use in an acrylic pour as is. If you feel it’s too thick just add a few drops of water and mix until you get to the consistency you think is needed. I’ve not had any issues using it as sent. Good luck.
