I bought this about 2 weeks ago with a slew of other supplements from Swanson. All were great except this one keeps literally falling apart/turning into dust in my vitamin box. I assume its a reaction with one of the other supplements but honestly, that shouldn't happen. I'd suggest getting caplets if you can. I plan to next time.

A week's supply was put in a pill box (one per day). It disintegrated, and soon there was only a white powder.Later, I gathered up the dust remaining from the two pill boxes and ate them figuring I would get the Arginine this way. I noticed an acidic taste, and quickly developed swollen lips, gums, and tongue, and some difficulty swallowing. It appears to be an allergic reaction to something in the tablets, probably the L-arginine itself. In powder form it could easily come in contact with the mouth tissues, making the effect very obvious.While the typical user will probably not have an allergic reaction, I have never had tablets of anything that disintegrated like this.I had bought the 3000 labeled package of Natrol L-Arginine (90 tablets), but the actual tablets appear to be the same.
