Plenty of room and protection.
Purchased this item to transport my skis on Southwest. Was a great companion in protecting my skis and poles. Also had a bit of additional space to tuck in my Thule ski racks. Very pleased with this purchase.

Poor design leads to durability issues
The retention straps on both ends of the bag were sown into the seam of the bag, as opposed to overlapping itself. As a result, it got pulled right out the first time I flew with these (2 days after I purchased). Can't blame the ground crew at airports. They yank on whatever you give them to yank on. My other ski bag had these straps designed properly and I've had zero issues. It's a shame 'cause its otherwise a well-built bag. This flaw is a deal breaker, hence the 1-star review.

Well thought out, durable ski bag lessens the burden of traveling with skis.
Great ski bag for my Icelantic Nomad 181s. Well constructed, well padded, but still maintains a slim profile so it does not seem bulky hauling it though Denver Intl Airport. Strap unhooks and folds up into a convenient zipped pocket under the center handles. Very convenient. The wheels were a lifesaver when traveling with a large suitcase, computer bag, and a boot bag allowing the ski bag to be wheeled behind while holding the big end handle. This ski bag was well though out for traveling with skis and constructed durably.

This is a lightweight, easy to carry bag that we needed for an extra pair of skis. I like the over the shoulder strap and the wheels were a must for navigating through airports with other luggage. The straps (with buckles) that go around the outside of the bag on either end were suspect right away, and sure enough, one broke on the very first trip. The webbing runs around the outside of the hard plastic runner on the bottom end of the bag, and that piece of webbing was sheared off when it came off the luggage belt. These straps are probably not a deal breaker for the function of the bag. Damage could be the airline's fault, but the design of a bag should at least allow it to make it past one trip. Not a bad product for the price, and I will use it again.

A Protective, Roomy Ski Bag for Travel
I'm so happy I made this purchase. This ski bag does exactly what it was designed to do: protect a pair of skis when traveling from point a to point z. I have brought my skis on numerous trips (both in the car as well as via airplane), and this bag makes transporting the skis so easy thanks to the hand grips and wheels for rolling. I have a pair of 170 skis, and the bag has enough room for those in addition to most of my ski equipment (helmet, jacket, pants, gloves, etc.) My mind is at ease knowing that my expensive equipment is protected thanks to this padded ski bag.

Decent bag for th price
Good:Bag rolls well, can fit two pairs of all terrain skis, zipper is rather sturdy and lining is rather protective.Cons:Tension straps on top and bottom are only single stitched, one tug on the strap (which inherently will happen) and the whole strap comes off. Should be cross stitched, at a minimum double stitched. A little disappointed in this, however the performance of the bag is not too affected by this. I would add another handle for baggage handlers etc.

I really like the ski bag - I just used it to travel out to Colorado for a week of skiing. I'm a shorter woman and was traveling alone - so the wheels were great and the strap. It's not quite as structure as a expected it to be but worked well. It did fit both my snowboard (bindings off) and my skis/poles with ski pants/jackets for padding. One bummer was one of the clip on straps to secure the skis was broke when I picked up my bag in Colorado -- didn't last one flight. Overall for the price, I'd say it's a good purchase.

meanwhile the other bag we have has stood up great flight after flight
Took on one flight and one handle tore off and it had three complete holes in it, meanwhile the other bag we have has stood up great flight after flight!
