The steps fit my ladder perfectly with on issues. Installing was easy. These replaced my original ladder steps. I would recommend. NOTE: This kit does not come with the flanges and protectors.

Did not include locking washers. Had to go to Home Depot to buy 6 locking washers. Other than that, easy to mount and appears to be very sturdy!!

Worked fine to replace my 38 year old plastic steps on pool ladders

This is junk and does not hold up. We bought these because DHEC required a non-slip ladder step. These broke within a month. These steps are not strong enough to hold adults getting out of the pool. Even though this is being used in a community pool the ladder itself is not a high traffic ladder. Very few adults use the ladder. I absolutely would not recommend these steps to anyone. The are absolutely misrepresented as "Heavy Duty"

Im writing this after a year of use and prior to opening for the upcoming season. Our old steps were beginning to disintegrate leaving a powdery film on the water surface. After visiting the local pool shops it became apparent how pricy replacing the steps would be. A quick Amazon search brought up these steps priced reasonably and well reviewed. After receiving them it was a surprise to see how thick the plastic steps were and how well ribbed for support the steps were. Included new stainless steel nuts and bolts were a pleasant surprise but the big test was would they distort the stainless steel tubing that affixed the stairs together. Nope. They were a perfect fit and no distortion of the tubes were noticed. After year 1 the steps remained unaffected by chlorine and other pool chemicals. A good buy these are.

Steps seem ok. Hardware not so much. The M8 is undersized to the original 5/16’’; only 5 of the 6 bolts went through finishing: had to retap the 6th. Decided the shear strength would be better with original bolts so bought new nuts.
