Picked up these shorts for my son who is really getting into baseball. Was looking for something that could provide a little cushioning from being hit with a rogue pitch, secondly sliding.These shorts provide just a little it of cushioning; slightly absorb impact but keep flexibility. Note, it is a very slim layer, so a rogue pitch is still going to hurt. But, every little bit of cushion will help.The shorts are a bit fitting. My son is on the heavy side, but short, so we sized up which makes the legs a bit longer than preferred. But, we can work with that.Overall, he'll enjoy using these during games.

My son is small for 11, but the size I got (his usual) he couldn’t get over his bum. The quality is excellent.

These do seem to fit a bit on the small side (I ordered a small - what my kiddo wears in all other baseball bottoms gear) so if you're kiddo is on the top side of the measurements, maybe order a size up. The side padding is fantastic, and the cup holder is super easy to slide a cup into (not provided with the shorts) because it's on the outside of the shorts. They are nice and long on the legs which provides great protection when diving for balls and sliding into plates. The seams are holding up well so far and the overall construction of the garment looks and feels great. My kiddo likes to wear them and finds them comfy and supportive. Highly recommend.

According to my son who plays baseball and tried these out, he said they fit a bit snug but provide good protection when sliding to a base.He said that he would recommend them to other baseball players if they feel that sliding hurts from time to time.

These are definitely one of the better slider shorts we have tried, but they do run small. I would recommend ordering one size up if your on the edge of the size scales, because it most likely will be to tight of a fit otherwise.

Good quality, comfortable sliding shorts for youth baseball. Fit well and as expected for my son. Also useful that his cup fits well into the pocket in the shorts. Good value.

We ordered my son a size youth XL because he wears Rawlings baseball pants in a youth xl. These are supposed to be fitted but they are super tight on him. So tight he can't get them up over his thighs and he isn't a big kid. Definitely order up a size or two up. They seem like very nice slider shorts with padding in the hip and thigh for sliding and a spot for an athletic cup. I guess we are going to have to go up to an adult size to find out how well they work.

Purchased these for my 14 year old baseball player. He can’t say enough about how comfortable these are. After many sliding attempts, these shorts are very protective against scrapping and bruising. After about 30 wash cycles, they’re as good as new. At this price point, it’s a no-brainer. Protect the body and get yourself a pair of these shorts.
