It Was a Dark and Stormy Night

The joy of this book is the illustrations and unfortunately this version is a smaller size than the original which was much larger, and that allowed children to really appreciate the pictures. This is less easy to read together.

This was a homework read from school great condition for a used book My daughter was not keen found the story quite difficult to get into for a five year old girl Defoe a great read for the boys

I just do not seem to get this author. Was advised by friend got funny bones which my children loved so decided on this but lies of describing text I read it but not to them yet bit woolly.

Excellent classic book by the Ahlbergs. Bought it for my grandson, having bought it for my daughters. Gave this edition only 4 stars because it wasn't the large one I thought I was buying, it was the pocket size edition! Brilliant book and well appreciated, nonetheless.
