Catholic Hymns for the Young Pianist, Book 1 (The FJH Piano Teaching Library, 1)

Great, basic piano hymn book. My 10 year old (who has studied piano since age 5) laughed out loud when she opened it because it was "so easy", but still she found it useful because she had the melody and could add chords on her own. Highly recommended for piano students in their 2-4 years of study or more advanced students who will add their own arrangements.

I teach piano at a Catholic school. This is a excellent book for beginners! It has melodies they recognize. Most kids are honored to play such music. Every student of mine plays every piece in this book. Perfect!

Great beginner book.

The piano accompaniments with each song are what makes this book special. Beautifully composed harmonies support the elementary melodies. A very enjoyable book for beginning Catholic piano students.
