I wish I could give this a six-star rating. The system itself is magnificent. It has a modern look and is well made. The cost is far less than ANY other similar shower system I could find. In fact, I really could not find one that I liked as much among any of the major manufacturers.I read ALL the reviews, questions, and comments. The plastic body is a plus, not a minus. I installed this myself and was very careful to make sure I did the measurements perfectly, only to find it protruding too far from the tile when I finished. Oops. No problem. The body is designed to be cut with a razor knife to fit if you make an error like I did. Try doing this with a metal body.The flow is amazing. This is definitely not the system you want if you are looking for a low-flow, water saving shower head. I suppose you could put in a flow restrictor, but that seems to defeat the purpose of such a wonderful shower head. There were also concerns raised about the shower head with extension being too heavy and causing problems. I'm convinced that was just due to a bad plumb job; however, I would recommend securing the copper pipe with copper banding and/or using a drop ear fitting at the bend to avoid this as a possible issue.Customer support was incredible. I had a perpetual leak in the first mixing valve body, no matter how much teflon tape I used - and you do have to use teflon tape generously here. I e-mailed the seller and they responded in less than six hours. I had my new valve in hand literally the next day!

This is a nice looking product and appears to be of high qualitiy. We will see the durability after some time passes. I could not give it a 5 star rating due to the following. The manual is poorly written. The shower head plumbing was placed too deep by my plumber. I needed to add a brass nipple and coupler to resolve the problem. Mounting the shower bracket to the plumbing was a real problem. I could not slip it over the O rings no matter how hard it was pushed on even though it was lubed. Several O rings needed replacing due to damage. I finally gave up and installed smaller O rings which were difficult to put on. I thought stretching the O ring would make a smaller diameter. This was still too tight therefore I use some emery cloth to shave off some material. It finally slipped on with great difficulty. This process took me 2 hours. I do not know if this is an isolated problem with just my unit or a manufacturing problem. I would buy this unit again even with the problems I had.

As many people have indicated, quality is top notch. All materials are heavy and appear well constructed. Installation is another issue. I have been assisting my installer who has installed this item before. The valve assembly does not give you much room for error, your measurements better be dead on. The 2 elbows that supply water to the shower head and handheld wand are barely long enough to to get thru the hardy board and tile. The manufacturer could supply fittings that are better suited for a easier installation. This is not a valve and shower assembly for a novice to install. The long arm that extends from the wall to the shower head is difficult to get level due to the short fittings and the weight of the arm and shower head. I will update when the job is completed.

We love the styling of this showerhead and hand held wand. The shower head is great, but the connector for the hand held wand had to be completely replaced. It has a very poor design for the way it connects to the water source on the wall. It uses two small gaskets and a slip on design rather than a screw in design. The first time we used the wand, it pulled off the wall, hanger and connector, and water was going everywhere. We ended up replacing the whole connection and hanger with a Kohler piece from a plumbing supply store. Had to replace some tile around the connection, and use a 3M Command Strip broom holder to hang the wand. It's some odd engineering, but it works!

Very stylish and good outside finish. However we faced a stuck cartridge wrongly assembled at the factory and the water leak almost ruined the new tile work. Late to change the brand/model, we ended up buying a replacement system. So far it is working fine and we are enjoying our rain shower system. Later on we found out that is critical to keep a spare cartridge handy which we bought and have it stored in case of emergency. Keep this PN handy: SunCleanse Pressure Balancing Valve Cartridge JH04BD 40mm. Good luck if you find it!

of this shower unit! I love its sleek appearance and the length of the hose. It is longer than any shower attachment I have looked at. I have one complaint--I would like to extend the rain mixer head one more length, so I do not have water spilling over my open shower that has no door. I would believe this Extention would be simple to produce and add much to the flexibility of the install. The company does not produce this product . --please inform me when it is available and I will give 5 stars!!

I love the modern look and clean lines of product! Unfortunately my contractor did not do a good job installing and there was a slow leak into wall! The leak went into the closet of adjacent bedroom and carpet and padding are ruined! I do not think it has anything to do with the product but the installer! My daughter had 3 of the same shower head installed in her house and they are working well with no leaks!

Right now the control arm for the shower head is a bit unsteady, wobbles slightly, having the installer to come back out to see if the arm can be tightened down more. Otherwise the look and feel of the showerhead with good pressure coming from the handheld is a nice treat.
