The media could not be loaded. I must admit, I thought video capture cards were expensive until I looked into it.Having recently purchased an iPad Pro M4, I wanted a way to be able to play my XBoX One and Switch games on it but streaming over WiFi can be very laggy.When I came across this adapter I decided it was worth trying for the price.I had to use a video capture programme on the iPad for it to work but there are a few available with demos including Orion, Capturino and Genki Studio.Once I’d plugged the adapter in and hooked it up to my XBoX and Switch, then loaded up the software, I was surprised to see it on screen straight away.I did have a few issues where some applications didn’t show anything at first. I just took the adapter out, turned it over, and plugged it back in, then it seemed to work fine.The quality, especially if you upscale to 4K (which you can do in the full versions of the apps), is amazing on the OLED screen and it’s easy to then record your screen.There are a few similar devices on the market which I have yet to try but this does exactly what I needed.I have also tried with an iPhone and Android phone which work fine but I would really recommend using a tablet with a decent screen to really take advantage of it.One thing to bear in mind is that it will take up your usb-c slot but it did also work plugged into a usb hub which meant I could charge it at the same time.Overall, I can’t fault this for the price and it means I can still be playing in the same room as my wife while she watches her rom-coms so that’s a win in my book.

A simple to use HDMI input to PC adaptor that works well.I am using it to save my my historic analogue video camera recording on a PC.The analogue signals are first converted to HDMI with an analogue Video/Audio to HDMI addaptor and then captured with he HDMI adaptor.

This capture device works perfectly straight out the box , no drivers required on windows 11. It shows up as a camera in windows, do you can record from it, stream it, use it as your camera in a video call etc, just like any other camera. Latency is fine, I'm able to use a mouse on the 'remote' system while viewing the video using this. Probably not so good for gaming, but for my purposes it is brilliant

Very poor quality. Stopped working in 3 months. Just gibes rainbow bars whenever attached while my 4 years old calming 4k still works perfectly. I would advise everyone to stray away from this product. This is one of the crappiest product that Ugreen produces

I bought this specifically to use it to connect my PS5 to the iPad and use it as a screen. I’ve been using it now for a week and it works flawlessly.If you came here for the same reason know that you have to change a setting on the PS5 or you won’t be able to see any video coming out of it. I haven’t noticed any lag to be honest, but it kinda depended on the app for iOS. I ended up using this app called Dongled that is open source, free, and does’t collect data. I noticed that you can also install it on a Macbook and the dongle works, but the image comes out upside down so stick to the iPad.Overall, totally recommended for this price
