Perfect for sourdough!
Love this croc! I use it to make sourdough. It’s perfect! I just remove the lid for the last few minutes and it’s perfectly golden. The best loafs I have made were in this crockpot. I won’t go back to using a traditional bread pan. The bread doesn’t stick to the sides- I just spay a little olive oil and don’t have any issues getting the bread out and it’s easy to clean. The best part is I can keep this on my counter to store the bread after I make it. 10/10 recommend!

Very good quality and price.
I bought this to make artisan's bread in. You have to heat the dutch oven up to 450 degrees for 20 min then you cook in it for another 45 min. I have made at least 40 loafs of bread in this and it still looks as good as it did the day I bought it. The enamel has not split on lid or at side of pan and I have bought a couple that have. This makes the perfect size of bread. And it would make a large pot roast, soup or stew, use it in over or on top of stove. without breaking the bank. This pan its my go to every time I make bread and I have several dutch ovens. I always use parchment paper but you will still always get oil spots and they clean up easy without having to scrub, just use a little soap and water after use.

I’m IN LOVE
Used to bake a round loaf of no-knead Kalamata olive bread. Absolutely delicious: everybody loved it. And I just love seeing it sitting on my stove. It’s such a pretty color purple and just so sweet and round. I have Le Crueset in another house. But I didn’t want to spend the extra money this time. I think this one is just wonderful value and quality. And who can resist the color?

EASY clean up and GORGEOUS look
I know that it seems silly to use the words, "Obsessed" and "Cherished" and "IN LOVE" for objects...but I also realize that I am an old women of 45...and kitchen items make me weak in the knees...far more than Jason Momoa ever could. This GORGEOUS Dutch oven is not only sexy to look at, but a joy to play with...much like my boyfriend. Jovie, which I what I have named this pink treasure, is so cute, that I keep her on my stove top at all time. And much like her name, she does bring me great joy! I have cooked things like Lasagna Soup and Fresh Cranberries in this amazing pot, and the inside porcelain is still as white as me in the winter. I am now trying to figure out if I need to add to the family and get the larger capacity ones, or if Jovie and I will live happily every after...just the two of us. Is there room in my heart for another member of the Crock Pot family? Only time, and my boyfriends debit card will tell.

Great heavy cookware that shoukd last for years.
Heavy like real cast iron, but none of the procedure. Cleans up easily. Just be aware that if you are like us you have to be a little careful putting multiple of this type of cookware on your glass cooktop at the same time. I prefer to only have 2 max on it at a time. But it works amazing in the oven or on the stove.

Good size
I love the color and size of this pot. I would've given it 5 stars, but within a month of having it, it already chipped. It doesn't hurt the functionality, but considering how well I take care of my pots, I am disappointed.

I bought this primarily for sourdough baking and it has worked extremely well so far. It feels heavy, solid, and durable, which helps with even heat retention during baking. The build quality inspires confidence that it will last a long time. I also like the look of it—it’s clean and presentable enough to leave out on the counter (however its pretty big). While I’ve mainly used it for sourdough, it’s versatile enough that I can see it being useful for other dishes as well. I will say mine showed up with a chip but amazon was very quick to rectify the problem!

I had been looking for a dutch oven for a while now, I felt it might be the missing link in my bread making journey, so after mixed success I decided to buy one. I was looking at 5 quart pots but thought they might be a bit small for me so a 6 quart was my sweet spot.I ended up going for the Tefal 6 quart but then I realised I would have to wait 3 weeks to get it in. Being impatient , as I am , I searched for another solution , then after much research I settled on the Crock Pot brand by Sunbeam . The only problem was I had to go with a 7 quart which is about 6.6 litres. This was right on my price point.I didn't want to go ultra cheap and I didn't want to pay a premium because it was made in France and after all, is the brand name going to make much difference in cooking performance with an inert object of the same design and characteristics. The pot arrived nicely packaged and with no damage a nice bright red. It is made of cast iron and enamel and is manufactured for Sunbeam in China . The edge of the pot where the lid meets the edge of the pot is bare iron which makes sense as there will be friction and continued lifting and dropping could lead to an enamel edge breaking. The handles are nice and wide and you can get a good grip on them .The lid carries dimples which helps spread the condensation evenly when it drops back into whatever you are cooking.I have seen this design on pressure cookers . My first use of the pot was making a sour dough bread. Unfortunately mine was too hydrated , so was hard to form, none the less I used some cooking paper and lifted it into the pot. I placed it in the oven set at 230C The pot itself heated up very quickly and after 25 minutes I lifted the lid to see that my bread had risen .I left the lid off for another 15 minutes and then removed the bread which actually turned out a lot better than many of my previous attempts before I had bought this pot. All in all I can see many uses for this pot from slow cooking to braising . It is heavy and feels like quality coming with a limited Life time warranty ,which basically means if it is faulty or breaks in normal use without the operator causing the problem you will be able to make a warranty claim.
