Beautiful Textures Naturally Straight Texture Manageability System Kit

I used to go to the hairdressers to have a similar (expensive) procedure done on my hair called texture release but had to stop as I seemed to have an allergic reaction to it after having Covid (IKR?!?) So it’s been over a year since my allergic reaction and I thought I’d buy this kit (did a patch test behind my ear first) AND I LOVE IT!!! it works! No allergic reaction and I can do this myself at home at literally a fraction of the price. The instructions are easy to follow (make sure you read them first!) and I can’t believe how well it’s worked on my hair multi-textured hair! I’ve since bought another kit and can’t wait to use it again. Highly recommend this product.

I have 3c, mixed race, curly hair and I bought this product as I wanted to straighten it for a while with longer lasting results and also loosen the curl without using harsh chemicals if possible, to help with detangling/weekly maintenance.So far, I've found this product to be really fantastic. The main ingredients Glyoxyloyl Carbocysteine and Keratin Amino Acids have been well studied for these purposes with positive results and are much more expensive in other formulations. After shampooing with the Neutralising Shampoo, I left the leave-in on for 20 minutes before blow-drying and straightening. I will say, for those weary of heat, you will need to straighten at a higher temperature (for me this was ~210c) to seal the amino acids into the hair cuticle. When I initially tried on too low a temperature my hair was brittle, I also used too much product (less is more). When done correctly, my hair was incredibly smooth and soft and took much less time than usual to straighten.Another thing to bear in mind, is the kit comes with shampoo & conditioner and recommends regular (i.e. at least weekly) hair washing to maintain the results. This means blow-drying/straightening again, if you're planning on wearing hair straight. However, for me this took no time at all (around 40 minutes for both, with straightener on 170 this time) with fantastic end results, even softer than before.I'd recommend this product for those not afraid of heat, hoping for softer smoother hair. Worth noting that when I washed a looser version of my curl pattern returned immediately, soft with less frizz and no damage. I'll be using for the next few months.

I heard great reviews about this as well as researching and watching many different reviews on you tube, testimonials etc. I ordered it and was so excited to use it making sure I followed directions correctly. The product actually irriated my scalp and that should have told me something was wrong ( I should have washed it out at that point) but I continued to follow step by step process. When I straightened my hair it looked ok but felt different, dry as opposed to feeling full, thick and hydrated. My hair never reverted back to it original texture, my curls are more loose and limp, there is clear evidence of heat damage. I am now noticing breakage 3 months after using this product only once. I wish I stuck to my own method that worked perfectly for years. I have truly learnt my lesson, not everything is for me. Be careful! I will not be recommending this product to anyone.

This product suits my hair perfectly, it loosens my coils sufficiently to prevent breakage and also means I can have straight hair if I decide to use my straighteners. I usually use it around every 3-4 months and have been doing so since 2018. I am mixed heritage, have tight highly porous coils and although I wanted to maintain a "natural" hair regime struggled to do so with the amount of work involved for my hair. This product is a perfect compromise for me!

This is my first time trying the system. I watched all the YouTube videos. I follow the directions.1. Conditioned my hair the day before2. Detangled my hair & washed in sections a. The hair does seem rubbery. I was extra careful b. Twisted each section back up3. Applied Step 2 a. Lightly applied each section b. Twisted each section back up(I did this because everyone complained about it being hair to detangle)4. Waited 20 minutes5. Blow dried6. Flat ironedResults: My hair is still frizzes. Not as kinky. I think my hair needs more heat than recommended.It doesn't get straight. So I just twist and use flexirods.It's does keep it more stretched out and longer.I've washed with conditioner, lost the shampoo.My hair is super soft.I'll try the product again because I want to wear my hair straight and not sweat it out.I feel you have to see how it works for your hair. My results are my results. I believe I did it correctlyit''s just my hair may need more heat. But it's worth trying again.

I followed the instructions and am really happy with the results. I have porous 4c hair and it came out super straight.As most reviews said less is more - I only ended up using half of each and am really ìmpressed with the results.

I've been using this since 2019 and cannot tell you how happy and dissapointedly late I found this at the store one day. I have thick-fine hair, weird I know. It's like a mix of 4a-4b. The process is so much quicker on my wash days and my kinky curls get real loose. If I ever had a problem with my results, it was because of human error. Like once - I accidentally washed step 2 out, just not thinking. Also, be sure your hair is clean with the shampoo and be sure to use a timer. The second time you use the full treatment, your results will feel better and better. The first time, the coating on your hair after it is done will feel awkward or wrong but that goes away after a few days. I wish they would make larger and accessible bottles of the maintenance shampoo & conditioner. Other than that, give it a try.

This product is life-changing. I would never consider getting another relaxer. I wash my hair 4-5 times before using the inner active leave in. After I completely finish the treatment (blow dry and flat iron) I put a little coconut oil in my hair for moisture and shine. Great product!

I haven't had a relaxer in over 2 years because when I relax my hair, my hair sheds something terrible. I was really amazed at how well this product works. The first time I used it, my hair stayed straight for almost 2 weeks (I could have stretched the time but I didn’t exactly cover my hair up when I showered) I am not really concerned about a curl pattern but I did notice that once my hair was washed my hair still curled just as it did before I used the product. But the best thing of all is that I could have straight hair without my hair shedding all over the place.

Product works great. Instructions are very clear but there should be more of the product for those individuals who have thicker hair. I felt like there wasn't enough shampoo especially.
