Wife and I decided to to re-do our front door approach from pavers to a flagstone walk. I live in the upper mid-west so snow is an absolute but for this walk I decided that we were not going to shovel it during the harsh winters. I installed this cable about 3" under the flagstone and to my surprise it was relatively easy to lay down. My disclaimer.. I have never done a snow melt sidewalk or driveway before but plenty of research and it was not as hard as I had thought.I have this wired to an in-ground box I installed and that goes to a Jasco 40amp smart switch in my garage which I control through home automation or directly from my phone. Did not opt for the auto temp or moisture sensor as I had roof snow melt with this feature and removed the sensors shortly after receiving my electric bill.Well this winter will be the true test for the five stars...
