IRWINRecord M141 Corner Clamp 4.1/4in

I have not used this yet. It came in a plastic bag and was covered in oil. Before I can use it to clamp wood I need to do a thorough cleaning job, which I have not had time for. However I am impressed with how solid and well made it is, plus the fact that the packer protected it from corrosion so thoroughly. If you want the ultimate in corner clamping, this is the answer.

The clamps are square in all dimensions, which is an improvement over lots of cheaper versions. The only two downsides are: one of the handles is notchy when you are turning it; the clamps don’t full close so if you want to clamp anything 12mm or less you’ll need to add some packers.

Well made, solid construction. Not as shown in the listing picture, which is of the 2" M140, but nicer (photo attached). Excellent grip.It was delivered quickly, well packed. I washed off the packaging oil with Swarfega and warm water, then lightly oiled the threads. It takes seconds, then you're good to go, with a lovely tool that looks and feels like it'll last a life time.

probably the best clamps I have in the workshop. I have been using some for 25 years and still work fine.

Excellent for the job in hand, received on time and would recommend the clamps.now using them to clamp picture frame corners and other items.

Great clamp best clamp I have used., my only criticism is that a little pricey, but cheapest price I found.
