Just A Diamond
Although I have had this album on tape for several years, the purchase price prompted me to buy this on CD. Having said that, It is an extremely jaunty album from the Princemeister. And any real fan of his would/should already own this album. Where it falls short are the couple of rap tracks that ruin the R&B/Rock feel of the album. I am not an out and out Prince fan, but when he makes a good one, by heck it's good. For the £2.99 inc post I paid, and the speed with which it arrived- an absolute bargain I would say !

cet album de Prince est un modèle du genre. L'inspiration du génie (n'ayons pas peur des mots!) est à son paroxysme: ça swingue, ça groove, les arrangements sont époustouflants, la musique novatrice avec des influences du rock à la Zappa, du blues, gospel, blues, jazz. La musique avec un grand M a perdu un très grand artiste. Heureusement ce genre d'album fera passer son oeuvre à la postérité. N'en doutons pas!

Reputo questo album davvero bello. L'ho ascoltato un sacco di volte. Non posso che consigliarlo. Ovviamente è un mio giudizio personale Dal punto di vista della qualità di registrazione non mi pronuncio. Non ho un sistema Hi Fi adeguato per dare un giudizio. Saluti e buon ascolto.

You can never go wrong with Prince. This CD has some great songs on it.
