Long review, but it might just answer your questions...
So, I felt compelled to write a review on this item as I spent some considerable time choosing a small first aid kit and had some doubts about it when ordering. However, I am not disappointed with my choice and want to address a couple of issues raised by others in their reviews. But first, a little about me. I am a former paramedic who switched professions some years back. I am now in a line of work that means I still see and deal with trauma and injuries and I now have a young family. So I have both professional standards and family expectations.I was looking to replace my old small FAK for home and camping as it had begun to perish and fall apart. I could have made a kit up with having access to supplies but still needed a new bag. I searched the web and amazon but kept coming back to this kit as I liked the layout of the bag. So eventually I bought it and it arrived within 24 hours for me.Some have commented on the value of the kit, that the contents aren’t worth the cost. I can see where they are coming from as whilst there is a lot of items in the kit, they are made for Surviveware and so are not costing them anywhere near that. But, it is a good selection that to source yourself would require time, effort and you would end up with loads of spares. It all fits the bag nicely without squashing, a little room for extras and without leaving you wanting for anything too crucial. Remember, this is a small FAK. Not a grab bag or response kit. So I could swallow the premium on this occasion. The size. Some have concerns with the size but as you can see from the pictures, it’s not too small yet small enough to be attached to either a belt, bag or webbing. Again, it’s well stocked for the size. The front zip pocket allows for storage of personal meds and so on. A really nice feature that allows the user easy access to tablets, blister packets and so on.It comes sealed in a watertight bag (untested). Once opened though, it doesn’t seem to re-seal that well, so I would assume this is more of a safety seal for sale and shipping. If you want it waterproof, buy a small dry bag to stick it in.The molle attachments seem strong and have additional Velcro tabs. Again, a nice bit of thought.Red is a good colour for a FAK. Along with green. Black, grey and other military style ones are only good for those that really need an operationally discreet FAK. If you want one for home or recreation, bare that in mind. The weight is not an issue. Its not heavy. Don’t worry about it. The zips appear good quality. Large, easy sliding two way zips. The stitching and other integral parts of mine were spot on. No loose threads. The labelling system Is something new for me with a small FAK, but I like it and it means that anyone who picks it up is less likely to empty it all out or faf around looking for stuff. Not many of the items included have use by dates. They don’t really need them. That said, the shortest date in my pack is 7/22 so about 2 years off.The removable cpr pouch is a nice item and again, robustly made. It’s designed for the US. Whilst the first aid booklet still contains Valid instructions, it would have been nice to see it contain UK numbers like 999 but 112 will still work.Overall, I went for this out of laziness on my part and with some doubt, but I’m glad I did. I think it is worth the money, but no more than the £29.99 I paid. I would like to see it more around the £20-25 mark and it would be a must for families or those who holiday a lot.I will be adding a few more items to my kit, a few more plasters (kids ones), a clinical waste bag, a few more gloves and some spray plaster, along side meds such as paracetamol, ibuprofen and antihistamines and the bag will take it.As time goes by, it gets used and so on, I’ll update my review accordingly. So hopefully I don’t end up eating my words.....

An excellent small kit
This is a really nice well thought out small first aid kit. And remember, it’s a small kit so you’re not going to have everything a large kit would contain. I would say this is perfect to carry on a day out in the mountains (which is the purpose for which I bought it.)Up until now I’ve had the usual old first aid pouch full of random gubbins that I suspect a lot of people end up with – a bit of a mess and not easy to keep track of what is in there. With this kit, the main selling point for me was having everything organised in labelled sections so you can find it in a hurry when you need to without having to rummage around or dump everything out to find what you need. In a stressful situation the labelled pockets would be a real benefit, especially if you have to ask someone else to find something for you.I also liked the fact that it is molle compatible, so if I run out of space inside my pack for some reason, I can just attach this onto the outside of it.The kit came sealed in a ziploc style plastic bag which presumably you’re meant to hang on to as it could be used to make it waterproof if needed. Note however that almost everything inside the kit itself is held in individual ziploc bags so even if the main bag gets wet, things like plasters and bandages inside should still be fine. Before buying, note that [at the time of writing] a lot of the reviews online are of an older version which included a simple tourniquet. That was still in the description for this listing, and when I reported it was missing the seller apologised and amended the listing (and gave me a small refund too – which was nice of them). They pointed out (and I agree with them) that the tourniquet wasn’t really up to much so was removed. Note that it was NOT listed on the packaging anywhere. I’m trained to use a CAT, so that’s what I’ve got.Thoughts on the contents:The trauma shears look well made, the tweezers are excellent. I’m not convinced by the need for the splinter probe things though. It would be nice if there was more than one pair of gloves, and if they were packaged in their own space rather than in the CPR kit, but then again you’re better off adding extra gloves yourself anyway. So far I’ve added some blister plasters, a small saline ampule (just cos I had it hanging around), extra gloves, a small torch, and a plastic bag. If you’ve ever had to use first aid equipment in anger, somewhere to put used stuff is always really handy.I also carry a CAT and an Israeli bandage. Somewhat overkill for a small kit, but both of those items do their job very well. I think I could probably squeeze them into the bag, but I’ll leave them in another pouch for now as they’re the sort of thing that you only need very very rarely (if you’re lucky). The only negative thing I can really say is that there’s not a huge amount of free space to fit in extra contents due to way it is organised into labelled pockets. But I think the advantage of the organisation outweighs this though.First aid kits are always a combination of compromise and personal choice. I think this one is a really good basis for a small kit for everyday use.

Good little piece of basic kit
Great little first aid kit, good for the car or to pop neatly in a backpack. Everything inside is labelled and organised and then each section is it’s in its own little plastic press top bag. It will be easy to pull out what I need the next time I accidentally maime myself, without having to pull it all out, spread it all over and bleed on it. I added a little can of spray on plaster and antiseptic. Put some paracetamol, antihistamines and ibuprofen in the front pocket too. If you’re a neat freak like me, this first aid kit is amazing.

Very good, just needs a few improvements to make it perfect.
It does have a lot of things you would need, but I found myself adding a lot more and space is extremely limited. I never understood why the makr everything so tight and the outside plastic bag had just about enough space for the pouch, but if you add more things in to it, then it is almost impossible to get the first aid kit out. How much more expensive would have been if the plastic bag was slightly bigger?!! I just find it a bit pathetic that the measure everything to a nanometer.

Quality kit
I spent ages reading reviews before purchasing this kit, so glad I did the homework. It's an excellent kit, in a very robust and well designed bag. I love the idea that everythings labeled, nothing worse than added stress fumbling in a disorganized bag. I bought it to go in an emergency gobag, doesn't take much space and it has most things needed for minor emergencies also includes a good first aid guide. I just added an Israeli bandage on recommendations of other reviewers, doubt I will ever need it, but I guess thats better than needing it and not having it. Great customer aftercare, I just been sent a video first aid guide, not watched it yet, but good to see a business that cares about customers 'after' a purchase has been made, not just 'before'.Thanks, highly recommended

An excellent quality, well thought out FAK.
This is a very good quality, well thought out, well organized, compact First Aid Kit. The bag is sturdy, the contents are good quality, and the mini-zip-bags for personal meds are a nice bonus.I purchased this one for my Go-Bag. I would have purchased 3 more (for my vehicles and EDC), but it was out of stock for so long that I ended up putting together my own kits. There is a little room to add supplemental items. I added a few more wound closures, polysporin, a BIC lighter, a tick-remover, and moleskin.Yes, it's more expensive than some of the other small FAKs available, and if you're looking for something that will sit in your bathroom cabinet and only be brought out for paper cuts and scraped knees, maybe look at something less expensive. However, if you want something small for travel, hiking, sports, or emergencies, this is absolutely worth it!

All in one best kit under $50 nothing comes close!
Recently I have been looking at amazon for complete medical kits for camping/backpacking/day pack for car. It's been weeks of reading reviews of all products. Finally I decided on this one and here is why:Products: this is a very clean organized pack with everything individually labeled which is great for emergency situations where every second counts or if you just dont know where to put things. Other packs you may have to take everything out just to get a bandaid. Also although not waterproof everything comes bagged so if water does go in there is more added protection. The bandaids, shears, tape are all decent quality. The CPR mask is cheap and kind of useless for me but better to have then not to have and it comes in it's own pack which is nice so you can remove it and clip it somewhere else on you pack. As for the product quality, size, cost, and organization I think this is the best pack out thereThe pack: the pack is made of good material (and good zippers). I love the pocket in the front for quick access to benadryl or advil or tylenol without having to open the kit. Also the molle straps work well to attach to my bug out / tactical bag. Once again this pack was extremely well though out.Customer service: this may sound stupid but never has any company sent me an email with links to their website with all kinds of videos on how to use their product. They attached a pdf file with similar information like the first aid book that comes with the kit. I buy many products but never has a company stood by their product like this. They add a card with the kit with all products inside for replacement and in the videos they explain about shelf life of products which I was not aware of.Overall and final thoughts: If your a beginner looking for something complete under $50 like me this is for you! I assure you no product comes close I checked for weeks. If you are advanced or expert you will love this because it's easy to add or modify. The only thing I personally would add is a tourniquet. But for $50 like I said nothing comes close to thisI gave this a 5 out of 5. I truly hope this review helps especially people looking for a complete kit that can go anywhere with you and truly perfect for beginners.

Love it
Huge fan of this, ordered a second one. I've had these for a few years now. Ordered a backup. I regularly pull from them and restock them as needed (bandaids, gauze, etc). Have added a few things as I find I need them (superfine tweezers, moleskin, personal meds, etc). Still need to add a couple items I may need in the future (knock on wood, but a CAT tourniquet, a squeeze bulb, etc). The compact size of this kit is great. The zippers are great - easy to open and access - it opens up and lays wide open nicely, is nicely labeled so you can keep it organized. It does have a little room to add a few things. The design is great - it comes well stocked initially and is a great starting point to have in your home, one in your car, one in (or attached to) your backpack. For how well stocked it is, it is very compact. It disappears in the bottom of a typical backpack really.

well equipped, in a small package
I purchased this for hiking, so I was looking for something that was small. lightweight and this has just about everything you need. The company emailed a first aid guide along with add on suggestions so you can personalize your kit. Fortunately I haven't had the need to use it (and I hope I don't) but I have piece of mind that I'm well equipped should something happen. I only have two small issues with it, one being it would have been nice if the pack itself was a tad deeper (thicker), it comes pretty packed so there is not allot of extra room to add stuff. The second. I got first aid certified about a year ago and the CPR kit (the mouth to mouth mask) is no longer required, as standard CPR just requires chest compression only, so the mask is a bit of a waste. I will probably toss the mask and add an Israeli patch as real estate in the kit is at a premium

Great kit for the fishing box.
Love this little kit. Thankfully haven't had to use it yet, but it's a great size to fit in my fishing tackle box, the labeling inside the kit is a nice touch, and contains all the basics I wanted. Shipping was incredibly fast and the customer service I received (just making sure I received it and all was to my liking) was definitely top notch. Definitely going to recommend this to my outdoorsy friends.
