Excellent product – deliciously seasons & tenderises
This is wonderful stuff. Something similar used to be made by Schwartz and I used it for many years, but it was discontinued. As it says, it seasons and tenderises, and can be used with any meat. I think it works best with lamb chops – which I grill, and it makes the meat taste scrumptious! Frankly, I wouldn't bother eating lamb without it. Great on steak too.

Too salty
Spoiled our dinner as it was far too salty. There should be a clearer warning on the jar. Will not use again

MEAT TENDERISER.
This product appears to work very well but I would suggest that the application is carried out a good 12 hours or more before cooking the meat as this allows the tenderiser to penetrate deeper into the tissue. I have only given this item 4 stars instead of 5 because the powder is very light and somewhat difficult to spread evenly over the surface. I used to be able to purchase Schwartz tenderiser containing fine granules rather than powder which in my opinion is more controllable but I believe this item is no longer available.

Works brilliantly
The powder works brilliantly and only a small amount is needed. In fact, have to be careful not to add too much or the meat becomes too soft. Seems to work on all meats. The jar closes properly and stops the powder from caking up. Very good product.

For people with dentures
this product is fantastic ,ive used baking soda before to tenderise meat but you have to wash it of before cooking or it could taint the taste .this product, you just sprinkle it on and leave it for a hour and say casserole it the meat is tender and soft like tinned stewed steak ,you could cook a old shoe with it and it would come out soft l o l

I had almost forgotten what a tender steak tasted like, this really does a good job
Being unable to afford fillet steak, I had almost forgotten what a tender steak tasted like, this really does a good job, and with the aid of a good prodding all over with a fork, sprinkling with the tenderiser , leave to stand for half an hour, slightly grill each side, it works magic
