Excellent Dremmel quality and product nothing new here but great tools highly recommended

This shield is a must to deflect sparks and possible debris from flying off the cutting area back onto the user. It only deflects the sparks and debris under the shield area, but the shield covers almost half the area so it’s very effective to keep the sparks etc away from the user. It was easy to screw onto the Dremel and feels secure.

Works as expected. Very small and out of the way, but makes a huge difference in directing sparks and debris away from you

I bought this Dremel Shield for my cordless Dremel rotary tool. The shield is important to me when cutting because the fiber discs are thin and prone to shatter. It works well, and is designed well to stay out of the way when working in most positions. It screws on to replace the OEM ring. One thing to note is that while I prefer to use a three-jaw chuck vs the small collets, the shield will not fit with the chuck in place. I appreciate the added safety of this shield, and recommend it to those cutting with a Dremel rotary tool.

Nice Guard for the drummell

This thing is kind of essential for using cut off wheels, I’m surprised it doesn’t come with the tool as you basically can’t use it without it. Obviously you can, but it’s a lot less comfortable as it throws sparks and plastic and whatever else you’re cutting toward you, because you can’t always cut in the most ideal position. If you have the tool, this guard fits, I would definitely recommend it
