The shovel arrived at our home in the mountains north of Seoul in good time and well packaged. It’s seen some heavy duty work after the monsoon season and before, during and after typhoon rains, helping to keep drainage canals clear and diverting water flows around our property. It’s a sturdy piece of work, heavier than any shovel I’ve used during our 25 years in this location and well suited for the digging, cutting, lifting and clearing that is required here. I rate it as very good value for the price.

Well made and does the job

Surprised how light and strong this is. Kept its edge too after I bashed it on rocks for 2 hours digging.

Strong enough to dig a good size hold

This is a great shovel if you are planting flowers and digging common weeds. I tried to dig out a root that had hardened into something stick-like and cracked the shovel, so it's not the sturdiest shovel, but otherwise it cuts through dirt and common weeds nicely.
