I see both Dasuquin and Dasuquin w/MSM. Is the w/MSM worth the more expensive cost? Both seem to have great reviews.

yes if you have large dogs like I do. Dasuguin and Cosequin DS are made by NUTRAMAX. Both have same supplements but Dasuquin has a greater amount. Shop around because cost is different or find discounts at differentoutlets. Shop Amazon or check out all the different places that sell pet supplies. PS my vet said DAUQUIN WAS FORMULATED BEST FOR DOGS. My dogs are 88lbs to 120lbs. I use soft chews.

is it safe to continue on 2 tablets a day even after the initial 6 weeks? and if so, can this be for ever?-my 6 year old collie started limping again

After the initial 6 weeks I went down to one tablet, but my vet said to continue giving two tablets a day because of her size. I have a Newfoundland who is approximately 110 pounds.

Has anyone compared Dasquin with cosequin? Which one is better?

My dog had severe hip dysplasia and had to have FHO surgery on both hips. His orthopedic surgeon has him on Dasquin for his other joints. He said Dasqyin Advanced is the best (I've only seen it available through the vet's office, and it's new) but if Dasquin gets too expensive that I can use Cosequin but he said Dasquin works better. Make sure you get Dasquin MSM, not plain Dasquin. It is by far better.

Nutramaxlab website says Dasuquin is only available thru vets. Told me via email to only get it thru vet. So Is Amazon product a knockoff? Thanks"

In my experience, no. My vet charged me $101. I was outraged, ordered the same product, for a little more than half that. I compared the two bottles. I read every line, every word. They were exactly the same. The receptionist told me to return the bottle, and go for the better value. If this were a knock- off, something, even something little would have to be different on the label.
