Summer (Seasons Board Books)

Love this book - it is purely pictures but it's so nice to search for things on each page and make up a little story. My little one loves it and it's one he asks to look at every day - will be getting the other seasons also!

Awesome quality of the art inside. My son loves the pictures. The book really stimulates to come up with new and original stories every time.

I love these books that give beautiful examples of illustrations of Summer time. I was asked by a Reception child why there were no words. I loved that we looked at the pictures and found our own stories, something that I think is so important with children. I have the whole collection now.

Absolutely love these season books by Gerda Muller! My little one loves these picture books and and we spend so much time chatting over the pictures. Truly beautiful illustrations and a wonderful way to explore nature and the seasons.

I bought this along with the other 3 in the set and they have been invaluable when teaching seasons to my year 1 class. there are not many resources for seasons unless you want a tree so this was an excellent resource. thank you!

Beautiful pictures - can make up your own story to each page.

There are lots of books on the market which focus on Spring, Autumn and Winter, but not so many which focus on the Beauty of Summer, so this is a nice book for that.

Lovely picture books for my 4 children under the age of 4. No words, only pictures. It’s nice because the children can create their own stories of what’s happening. The book doubles as a nature table display.

No words, just beautifully painted and carefully crafted illustrations that invite you to get creative and storytell. Therefore is great for babies as is for older kids. Each page shares a seasonal scene or two we talk about or play "I spy".

Purchased this book as a Summer Solstice present for my two boys, ages 2 and 15 months. The whole family loves all of the books in this seasonal series but this one is particularly wonderful. The idyllic scenes of childhood are refreshing and the pictures filled with detail. I think I see something new in each picture each time we look through the book. As much as my children enjoy these books now (they bring them to me multiple times a day), it is fun to think about them making up stories to go with the pictures as they get older. I have also taken to buying the appropriate season book for friends as baby shower or children's birthday gifts and all have enjoyed them.
