Quality product. The advertised 20ft range is pretty generous. In my testing the effective range was right around 15ft., which is acceptable. The gel resisted aerosolization well past 10ft, which is great for avoiding blowback. Aiming and operation were very easy. The can held enough spray for four very heavy blasts, probably in the 12-15 second range total, but I did not time it. The can is large enough to fill your hand. It's larger than I'd want to carry in a pocket, but perfect for a bag. The larger size inspires much more confidence than the keychain sizes. I would like to see some type of safety on the sprayer beyond the thumb cover. There's nothing else to keep it from spraying in your bag. You'll want a case for it.

So much better than simple pepper spray because it sticks to whatever it hits and doesn't blow back at the user. It shoots a long range so you can keep the attacker at a distance. You can twist the clip to adjust for left or right-handed users. Just clip it on and you're ready to defend yourself against any human or animal. Study and follow all printed directions and test it out a couple off times to get the feel of it.

Carry it when walking the dog at night. Good stuff...

This SABRE Crossfire Pepper Gel is a great self-defense option. The 1.5 oz size works perfect for my car, hotel bag, or backpack on hikes and office days—love the belt clip and flip-top for easy access. It’s a tad big for everyday carry, but ideal for walks to fend off animals or sketchy folks. The gel spray and crossfire feature look promising too. Solid buy for outdoor peace of mind!

While I didn't deliberately spray any of this pepper spray on myself to test it, I have been introduced to it when someone in my car accidently pressed the button on one. It was NOT a pleasant experience! I originally got this to deal with dogs that chase me on my bicycle. This order came with two, so I put one in my car in my console. That's how my passenger found it. I did test it outdoors, spraying away from myself. I sprayed across wind, not downwind, because spraying downwind means it'll come back at you in the backdraft. It shot a good spray about 16 feet or so. It was easy to spray, but I was more comfortable using my pointer finger, instead of my thumb. One short burst seemed to deplete the contents considerably. So, you may only have enough for two short bursts...not good. The orange color helps guide your spray, but it's more of a stream instead of a shotgun type pattern. You better be accurate.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this product saved me from what could have potentially have been a worse dog attack. This is a great product with a good distance. After the dog initially bit me I was able to back off and I hit him in the face from about 8 feet away. The dog ran off giving me more than enough time to get away, so if you walk small dogs or like to go on walks in general this is a must carry. I would have probably gotten chewed up if I didn’t have this in my pocket.

The prevalence of loose dogs is one of many reasons to carry this product. The law ignorers always think their dog would never bite anyone... until it does. With other pepper sprays, the user needs to turn the trigger first before it can be depressed. This spray has a better design in that there's a protective hinged cover over the trigger, but you can easily slip your thumb onto trigger with one hand. So it won't go off if bumped in your pocket, but you can insert thumb and spray very easily when needed. Or pre-load in your pocket so-to-speak. Also this spray has more content in it than the cheap smaller products. And gel is superior a plain aerosol pepper spray—gel will travel further, have more precision in a breeze, and be less likely to blow back in your direction. A good self defense product overall.

I was about to be attacked by TWO dogs. They were barking and running towards me. They were aggressive. I could see it in their eyes...I WAS GOING TO BE THEIR NEXT MEAL. I immediately grabbed my pepper spray and went to spraying. They became delusional at some point. It happened so fast. They could no longer attack me. They were unable to see me. They were running in circles and no longer barking. When the threat stopped, I stopped. It was easy to use. The clip allowed me to clip in on my jogging pants. I did not have to search in my purse for it. If I had to do that I would have been attacked. The strength is strong and powerful. Thank you for saving me from great harm.
