Great for Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spurs...I am a long time wearer of Vionic shoes (5+ years) and I purchased these to replace the Vionic slippers that I have worn for that length of time (4 pairs of slippers). The slippers were made of soft material that, while very comfortable, seemed to wear thin rather quickly. There is really no way to wash the slippers (other than by hand...) and I wear mine continuously, so always feel like I am wearing dirty sIippers! I have had these for a week and am very happy with the purchase. They are made of waterproof material and will be very easy to clean - Yay!! I have other Vionic shoes made out of the same material (soft plastic/rubber) and I know they will outlast the slippers. I wear them like house-shoes; if I am home, I have my Vionics on! I was recommended these by my Podiatrist for my heel spurs (left foot) and Plantar Fasciitis (right foot). When I first tried Vionics I was sort of confused at the fit and had to get used to wearing them. The elevated arch on these shoes help keep your tendon stretched and proper alignment of your feet. At the moment I am not currently suffering with my PF and HS, but know that if I don't wear my Vioniocs, I will be in pain soon. I usually wear a size 9 in women's but know that these shoes tend to run a little large so I ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. I would recommend these to anyone needing help for their feet, in any capacity!

I have owned 3 prior pairs of Orthaheel Vionic sandals and have liked them all. I typically wear them inside to protect my feet from hardwood and stone floors that have a tendency to give me plantar fasciitis. I like these more than prior unadjustable Slide type sandals. They are easy to get on and off, they are able to size to my foot, and they fit well. I personally wear them with socks. I usually get 1.5-2 years out of each pair and wear them daily when in the house.I would and have suggested these to others that need something similar.

I have waited to review these because I wanted to wear them for awhile before passing judgement. It's been five months and I really haven't worn these on a regular basis because they aren't very comfortable. I have purchased many pairs of Vionic brand shoes, some successful, some not, but generally I have liked them. These are comfortable when I first put them on, but after a couple of hours, the top of my foot starts to hurt. I have worn them with and without socks and they definitely feel better with socks, but I bought them to be my house shoe during hot weather, so socks kind of defeat the purpose. I have tried to adjust the fit by moving the velcro flap, but then the shoe is too loose and I actually tripped and fell one night because my foot shifted in the shoe. I'm giving it three stars, which is generous, but the foot bed arch support is fine, like most other Vionics I've purchased, so I'm trying to be fair.

I have only used these off and on for one day and I can already feel the difference.I have Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot for almost 2 years. It is driving me absolutely insane as I am still very active and busy and need mobility and independence. Add to that that I like to travel. It has been a nightmare.I wear a men's size 10.5 shoe and the size 11 of the Kiwi fits perfectly. The arch support is somewhat aggressive so be ready to feel pressure in your arches. I thought these would feel like they were going to slip off while walking, but somehow they stay put relatively well. They are built very well using what appears to be high quality materials. They have great traction when the bottoms are wet which surprised me (pleasantly). I do notice that the bottom of my feet sweat while wearing these, but they feel great so that's a small price to pay. I thought these would look like old cheap slippers you find in the discount isle... but they don't. They actually look pretty cool.I am anxious to see if there is any long term benefit from wearing the Vionic Kiwi. If there isn't... that's okay. As long as my feet feel good while wearing them and walking in them. Which, for now, is an absolute truth. Thanks Vionic!

I absolutely love these sandals. Just bought my second pair. Old ones are over 5 years old and very worn out BUT still comfortable! Have helped with my heel and arches.

I have weak arches and an injured tendon in my ankle which makes walking barefoot painful. These have helped so much that I am on my second pair after wearing my first so much over the last year that they became scuffed up and worn (but are still holding together.)The sole is shaped with really strong arch support, so much as at first it felt like I was standing bow-legged. But they started feeling natural after a few hours and have really helped prevent my ankle problem from worsening and allow me to stand and be mobile without problems for much longer than I could otherwise. They are really comfortable and have solid, durable construction. These are an A+ and when this second pair starts getting worn in the future I'll be back for a third!

I have try many sandal but not good as this vionic. I have use for 4 pairs already. 1 pair can last for 2 years. Hope Vionic will continue have this sandal available.
