CNMART Mee Chun Salted Black Bean 500g (18oz) Bag

We came across a sauce, ‘rayu’ made using fermented black beans. My children absolutely loved it, and went through the jar pretty fast. Bought another, and the same happened. Bought a couple more and there was no slowing down, they loved the stuff.The jars were small, and at £6 plus per jar, they were not cost effective. I looked for a recipe and found one (thanks to wonderful foodie content creators). I could make the sauce. So I sourced the ingredients, the last of which was these beans, and we’ve been making our own black bean condiment sauce since. I pack ours full of lovely ingredients which my children happen to love in it but may not like on their own, which is great. They eat it with everything - rice, pasta, lentils, boiled eggs, chickpeas, avocados… so versatile, convenient and tasty. I absolutely recommend these beans, they taste great, are good value and are great quality.
