Impressive item. Indeed invented by William Townley, the owner of a drug store in Newark, New Jersey, back in 1893, just so you could mix these things with water and vinegar and color your Easter eggs different hues. He had to do this, because the Easter bunny uses MAGIC to do the same thing, and his colored eggs are just too damned expensive. These tabs have been around since congress authorized the first steel vessels in the United States Navy. Yah, before that Navy ships were wood! So PAAS has been around, and it still does what they say it will. Colors your eggs. FIVE STARS.

This is the same type of egg decorating kit you have been able to find for years. This has a number of different dyes in several colors, and a number of other littler egg fun items (including some wax pencils and other items. Very enjoyable, and easy to use (instructions are on the back of the box).As a quick note - don't punch out the egg stand on the back until you have gotten all the instructions. Also, I used one of the little paper egg stands to help support the box so it didn't collapse as we put the wet eggs on it.

I love this decorating kit! It’s everything that a kid would love or anyone at any age! The colors are great and they leave behind beautiful colors. I also appreciate how it comes with everything that you need. I recommend this.

Brings back memories. My kids love to sit and dye eggs. It is a great memory to make together.

Gorgeous colors. There is no true green, so I made a green using food coloring, water, and vinegar. The green in this set is a beautiful teal. I also enhanced the red with red food coloring just bc we wanted a Cardinal red, but in general these colors are great on their own.

We were surprised to see that neither of the boxes included a "magic crayon." The kids were disappointed, but still a good kit.

I can't recommend this highly enough. I ordered this for a different use than Easter on Easter Friday. It arrived on my doorstep the next morning.
