Chambers Natural Tick Repellent 250ml

Ticks are driving us mad this year, it seems to be a bumper year for them. Harvey, our cocker spaniel, appeared to be getting a blood thirsty tick every time we took him out. Even though I’d check him when we got home, sometimes I’d miss one and in the morning you’d find a blood filled tick that had gorged itself on our baby throughout the night and the now pea sized evil that is the tick had to be removed. I purchased a seresto collar which has worked but we were still coming home with the odd tick. I then purchased this natural tick repellant which I spray behind his neck, above his tail and one spray on each side. It smells amazing with the essential oils filling your nose with what I describe as lemon sherbet, it’s delightful but obviously not so delightful to the ticks as we haven’t seen one on our boy since using this product. It’s so easy to use and such a lovely quality product, it’s not sticky and doesn’t make my spaniels coat clump which can be an issue with so many products. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is having pesky tick issues with their dogs.

I used this spray during summer 2023 and had forgotten I had it.This year (2024), the dogs were coming back from walks with ticks. Then, I remembered I have this spray and now not seeing ticks so much. I've found one dead teeny one today.It's easy to spray. The dog's don't like it much, but there's no wastage when spraying.I love the smell. It's lush. I'm about to order a second bottle, although I've probably got a month left.I'd recommend to dog owners worried about nasty ticks.

4 stars since only been using for two days and although it has reduced the number of ticks our collies pick up I don't think it eliminates them all. That said, the dogs spend most of their time outside and their walks are in long grass where we often see deer so probably nothing would work completely. Love the lemon smell and the fine spray. Will probably be re ordering and by then maybe I can update the review.

I have a large 2 year old male German shepherd and a 14week old female German shepherd. Both are on a health plan through vet and treated monthly for fleas worms ticks We often spend hours on hikes through woodland grassland beaches etc however this year has been horrific for picking up ticks. Everytime we went on a walk they'd come back with ticks!Obviously the worry of them catching Lyme's decease etc I was willing to try anything.I ordered this in the hope it may work or at least they'd have fewer ticks.Was extremely pleased that it's does work! Not had a single tick since using this product. It smells like sherbet lemons which I love although the dogs don't as it makes them sneeze.But I think a wee sneeze is a small price to pay to remain tick free and not worry everytime they go near long grass or woodland that there going to pick up nasty wee blood sucking hitch hikers

I have used this product for years now and recommended to many friends. However last year the bottle changed and the new white ones are not fit for purpose. I have always kept a bottle in my car and never had any problems before but the lid on the white bottle seems to work loose and both myself and a friend have had the entire contents leak out into our boots. I love the smell usually but a whole bottle - gasp... I had to wash everything several times over and leave the windows open for days! Please return to the original blue/purple bottles or address the problem and then I will order once more.

Our two spaniels are in and out of all sorts when they are out walking, and I have picked off up to 20 ticks from them in the height of the summer crawling along their fur after a walk. I have used this for the past few days and have noticed far less, if any, ticks.I was keen to try and avoid spraying anything with too many chemicals on their fur, and this seems to really work so far. It smells fresh, and both dogs tolerate it. I am happy with the purchase so far.(Ps they do both get a flea and tick tablet every month but this doesn't stop the ticks crawling about on their fur for a while and transferring to bedding, furniture or humans!)

Spray doesn’t work

Just completed the West Highland Way in Scotland with my dog. Sprayed it on him every one of the seven days we were walking and despite running around in the long grass and woodland, he didn't pick up a single tick. As well as its excellent performance it also smells lovely. I can't recommend this enough.
