R.W.FLAME Mini Freezer, 2.1 Cu.Ft Energy Saving Upright Freezer, Small Freezer with Reversible Single Door for Home/Dorms/Apartment/Office (Silver)

I bought this because my refrigerator freezer is too small. This is nice to help keep my frozen items accessible and organized. It's pretty small, but big enough to hold some frozen dinners, ice cube trays and a couple of pints of ice cream. I followed the directions and didn't turn it on for a good two days. Between shipping and me moving it and leveling it I wanted to make sure the violent was settled. It runs very quietly. The only noise I hear from it is a click when the thermostat kicks on. My kitchen is small too, so I set it on a card table, it only weighs 33 lbs. I have room to spare on the card table. I also followed directions and let it run on the lowest setting for 12 hours before adjusting the temperature. At it's lowest temperature it kept my ice cold and made new ice quickly. But it didn't really keep my pint of ice cream cold enough. I turned it to a cooler setting and all seems well. The only draw back is that it doesn't self-defrost. I haven't defrosted a freezer since the early 80's so I didn't even think about that when I bought it. But it's so small, I don't think it will be too bad. I would like to buy a plastic Christmas tree tray for under it. That would be a huge help. I did have a little work to get it level in my apartment. The front legs only go up about an inch. The back end has no legs and the weight of the compressor on the padded card table (plus the fact that the padding meant I had to raise the front more to get the door open) required me to shim up the back. I found a piece of wainscoting that nicely did the trick.

We needed more freezer space than we had in our upright refrigerators. This 3.0 Cu. Ft. Works perfectly! I would have rather it was a self defrost, but it is small enough it shouldn't be a very big chore at all. I would recommend it to anyone who wants just a little more freezer space. I chose this "upright" because everything is easily seen and I don't have to dig to get to it. Holds the temperature accurately! Runs very quiet.

I live in a studio apartment with a small refrigerator that lacks freezer space. This little freezer provides valuable space for frozen food. It keeps my ice cubes, ice-cream, and leftovers frozen solid, runs quietly, and after about 2 months of use shows no need for defrosting. I love my little freezer and would hate to be without it.

Once I was able to adjust the temperature for it being a basement freezer it works very very well. It’s roomy. It serves the purpose and I’m glad I got it and you don’t hear a sound coming out of this thing. Great purchase.

Duhhh this is a refrigerator and I used it in my guesthouse to place perishable food. It nicely fits under counter replacing a very expensive 2-draw built-in refrigerator freezer.

After setting this freezer up in my basement, I let it sit for at least 3 days before plugging it in. I then set the temperature dial to the 4 position (out of 7) according to the instructions and plugged it in. Nice and convenient where the temperature dial is actually inside the freezer! After 1 hour of operation without any food in it, the temperature was at +10 degrees inside, so far so good. After 2 hours of operation, the freezer had already shut off and the temperature was at -2 degrees! I love this freezer, it’s a keeper and recommended!!

Great little freezer. Keeps items frozen and looks very nice. Top can be used as a counter top. The door handle is mostly decorative (it doesn't pull open as one would expect). However, it can be used to open the door. There is also a finger grip at the top of the door which works better for opening up the freezer. Excellent amount of storage space for the size. Would highly recommend and would purchase again.
