Great price for a basic small water butt.
It's yet to stand the test of time, but it appears to be perfect for my needs. I did read some people had problems with the tap, so I squeezed one extra very tight turn when installing it, and tested it, with no leakages. I've set it up next to my compost and will be using this exclusively for nettle fertilizer in the vegetable patch. Anyone who's made it, will no how badly it smells, so I was glad to see that the lid seems to clip into place quite snugly. I perched it up on some spare breeze blocks, and now I'm just waiting for the nettles and Spring to arrive.I ordered this from amazon.co.uk and had it delivered to France as the same article was three times the cost from amazon.fr. There are no budget water butts in France, so this made the price even more attractive.

Value for money. Lid is awkward
Overall pleased with the product. Bought it to store and treat water for aquarium water changes and the 100 litres Is the perfect volume for me. Due to its size, the butt fits nicely into a corner of the garden beside the bin store so is unobtrusive, also very helpful. The lid is my only bug about this product but it’s a big one as its very difficult to remove. I’m only losing nails but if you struggle with hand strength or have any conditions such as arthritis I believe the lid would be impossible to remove. Luckily there is a hose plug in the lid for those of us who don’t need it connected to a down pipe but there’s no way of telling when it’s getting full if you can’t get that lid off!

This is the second one of these i have had, they are worth every penny. I have them in back and front gardens and they look good and fit in well in the corner.

Dripping tap
Was good but the wee tap drips won't stop

Good to save water.
This is a replacement for one that I have had for years as it started to leak, and it is good to get rain water in to water the garden plant's and save tap water as we are on a water meter and they say rain water is better than tap water for your plants.
