Soft, good shape and length, but a little bit see through

Fits me well (I’m 5ft 3/4 and it’s off the ground). Hood is a little small, but stays up when walking. Fits shoulders well, as material is designed to sit on the shoulders.Velvet style material, only downfall is it’s a little thin, but up against clothing it’s not see through! Happy for the price I paid!

I was initially going to a medieval summer wedding, which due to covid got cancelled twice and ended up being in December. I had bought a summer costume so I was looking for a black cape to keep me warm. I looked everywhere. I didn’t mind paying more for a proper second hand one, but in all the months I looked none ever came up for sale. In desperation I bought this one. It does look great, but it is thin, and really didn’t keep me warm at all. However, for indoor fancy dress purposes it is fine. If you are buying it to keep you warm for Hallowe’en, don’t expect it to do so. It wasn’t bad for the money though.
