This peeler is very sharp. I had to be very careful not to cut myself when using it.It is quite tricky to use it. with harder vegetables like carrots. I had to use a lot of force to slice this sort of vegetables. Because of that, some of the peeler teeth/blades have bent slightly. Obviously on the softer ones like cucumber, the peeler is easier to work with and does the job nicely.I suppose this sorts of kitchen tool should to be use produce slices for decoration when not many pieces are required. If you would like to use it to cut a lot of them for a salad for example I would not recommend to use it. Like I have stated already it will take too long and will be too hard especially on hard vegetables.Cleaning:It is hard to clean this piller. I had to use toothbrush to remove all of the dirt from between the blades.It would be perfect if the supplier could provide some kind of a brush for cleaning.Just because the tiny tooth blades have bent when working with a carrot I can only give it 2 stars.I hope you found this review informative and helpful.
