This is not a beach towel, it is more like a huge sham wow than a beach towel. Material is this and slick like a shammy. Not made of beach towel material. Not sure how it will hold up long term. Basically going to use it as a seat cover now, since it has no business of a beach. Quality seems ok, time will tell. Measures 49.5x30 inches
