Great item as we now have sharp scissors and sharp knives again. Really easy and safe to use as you basically use number 2 to put an edge back onto your knife, then use number 3 to smooth off the rough edges that number 2 has caused by sharpening the knife, and then number 4 is the finishing touch to get the knife pristine and ultra sharp again. We don`t have the most expensive of knives, but they are from a reputable brand and to say they where blunt would be an understatement as we had never sharpened them in 3 years. Quite a lot of metal created from the sharpening process, but now they are sharp again, i am hoping I wont have to use number 2 as much as this one was the main culprit of causing the metal shrapnel. Very happy with the knives now as they are amazingly sharp and as new again and cutting meat, veg and other foods is less hazardous as don`t have to have to use as much pressure but do have to be careful not to touch the edges anymore as they are razor sharp again. This is also ideal for scissors but be careful when using the Number 1 as the Diamond Abrasive is a little slippery when sharpening, but very effective as we have around 8 pairs of scissors in our household, and they have all been transformed back to when we first bought them, SHARP :) Fantastic item, fantastic price and fantastic results.

This feels stable and solid to use. I had a single sharpener that wasn't very stable to use, so am pleased with this aspect. Sharpened 2 kitchen knives within 5 minutes. Make sure you go through the coarse, medium and fine abrasive slots in order, on each knife, to get a very sharp knife.Given 4 stars as I found the instructions a little confusing, and in part contradictive, and still not sure how to yet use the scissors section. But still a very good buy.

This sharpener ensures my knives are perfectly sharp, making cutting and chopping easy and effortless. I have not tried the scissor sharpener yet, but if it is as good as the knife sharpener then there will not be a single fault with this item! Highly recommended!

Sharpener has only just arrived and I have tried it out on both knives and scissors. I can't say that I have noticed much difference. The scissor sharpener is quite awkward but it may be something I will get used to after more use. I'm not confident that I am sharpening the knives correctly as the instructions are, in part, fairly incomprehensible, and I'm not always sure whether I should be pushing or pulling! Otherwise, the unit seems to be well-built and solid, and is stable in use.

Made not very sharp knives blunt. Avoid.

I bought this mainly for the scissor sharpener and was not disappointed. I was fed up of buying new scissors but this is terrific. The precision on the sharpening is great and makes them like new. The knife sharpeners are good as well and work with steel and ceramic blades.

Don't bother with the others, this is the one to get. Instructions are not great (could do with some illustrations) so you will need to think it out particularly how to deal with scissors:- You might imagine that you should try to do both scissors blades at the same time but trust me, you will do a better and easier job by doing the scissors one blade at a time. Also make sure that you keep the scissor blade perfectly upright in order to achieve the correct angle; this can be achieved by resting the flat of the blade against the side of the orifice so to speak. I notice that another commenter said that he found doing scissors to be a bit of a struggle - because he didn't think about it enough loik wot oi did LOL

Great product, works a dream... Slightly larger than I expected but not an issue... Used ordinary delivery of 3-5 days but it arrived in 2 days! Hard to say if this is up to the job when you first get it because it takes time for it to prove it's worth, but overall a good quality roduct that has sharpened by dulling knives a treat!

Depuis que je le possède je n'utilise plus ma meule à eau, car cet appareil affûte aussi bien les couteaux, petits et grands ainsi que les ciseaux, avec un angle de coupe parfait et en sécurité pour les doigts.

Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die Handlichkeit dieses Schleifers. Der Griff auf der linken Seite gibt zusätzliche Stabilität, wenn man besonders kraftvoll die Messer durchzieht. Ansonsten muss ich noch eine Weile testen, denn bisher bin ich zufrieden. Allerdings habe ich gemerkt, dass billige Scheren, die sehr schnell stumpf wurden, auch durch den Schleifer nicht wirklich aufzupeppen sind. Es geht zwar, hält aber nicht lange. Aber das liegt wohl eher nur an den Scheren.

Dopo una attenta valutazione l'ho acquistato è arrivato nei tempi previsti ha una bella impugnatura, l'ho subito provato con un coltello da macellaio e dopo i vari passaggi dal punto 2 al punto 4 finalmente era affilato,ho già usato in passato affila coltelli con lo stesso principio ma ad un solo tipo di passaggio, qui invece ce ne sono ben tre tipi e l'ultimo è in ceramica, e ad buon prezzo

Afilador que va muy bien. Afila con seguridad cuchillos y tijeras. Las instrucciones son raras pero si lo buscas en internet es muy fácil y seguro. No sirve para cuchillos tipo sierra. Lo recomiendo.

I researched quite a bit when looking for a knife sharpener and decided on this one. As soon as it arrived I sharpened several of my knives and it did a fabulous job. It's lightweight and very safe and easy to use. I would highly recommend it and this super fast vendor. 👍🏻😊
