Double Slip Bulkhead Fitting - 2 inch

These are WAY better then what I got at Home Depot. I spent $25 bucks for the bulkhead fittings I got at Home Depot and they were too short for what I needed. These fitting were AWESOME! I needed the longer pass through because my plywood is an inch and and 1/8th so when I got these that were nearly a 1/4th the price of Home Depots and about an inch longer, I was extremely excited. These WORK awesome. I have since buying these two, bought two more, and then i had another job that required that i get 7 more. All in all I am EXTREMELY pleased with my purchase, I would recommend this to everyone that need a bulk head fitting.

I like this bulkhead fitting. It is sleek-looking from inside of my aquarium and the threads are long enough to work with a variety of materials. However, the rubber gasket is very firm and doesn't seal well on surfaces that are not perfectly smooth. I'm using a pond liner and the cloth webbing in the liner is preventing the gasket from sealing. I had some plumber's (silicone) grease handy and coated both sides of the gasket, the back side of the bulkhead, and the pond liner. Now I don't have any leaks. I'd recommend the manufacturer include a small packet of such grease.

I bought this as a output bulkhead for a koi pond settling tank/filter. It works fine but is not as robust as other bulkheads on a skimmer and filter fall that I also installed at the same time. The rubber gasket is not as thick as the others but it is leak tight and functions fine. I am happy with its function.

Quality control leaves something to be desired. I ordered several of these for a project and found some variability in size from unit to unit. One was so tight I had to taper the end of the PVC pipe to get it to fit.

Used them for making rain barrels (although DIY homemade rain barrels didn't qualify for LADWP rain barrel rebate by SoCal WaterSmart Rebate Program which sucks) and they are working wonderfully. I have collected over 500 gallons of water and the bulkheads are working well.

Works absolutely perfect for what I needed it to do. Period heavy-duty nothing cheap about this product at all. One word of advice, do not glue until you have made sure that everything is Laid out properly or you may have wasted a perfectly good bulkhead.
