I tested this to see how much longer salad would last compared to store containers or regular containers. The results were amazing the store container went bad after a couple days the regular plastic container lasted maybe another day as for this container it lasted two weeks. It sold me on it. Was surprised it saved it for that long. I see a lot of use coming to these containers.

It arrived defective - there are clips that are necessary to hold the lid in place tightly. They are shipped with the smaller container inside the larger container. When I opened them, the smaller container was already broken. One of the flimsy pins holding the lid in place was broken off, and had cracked the container - so no air-tight seal. Returned. I note this is the one that was inside the outer container, so this was not shipping damage - the outer container worked OK, but was just as flimsy as the other.

ProsI love the sealing pump. It has a rubber on top to release the air. It cannot open unless u release the air.Cons. Wish the container was stronger and microwavable. You have to bw careful with it.

I wanted to try these to see if the life of our produce could be extended since my husband and I are unable to buy quantities small enough to minimize waste. These worked so well. The apple slices we added to one container did not turn brown, slime, or mold and the apple has been in there for 2 weeks. Best. Purchase. Ever. We don’t plan to leave produce in them for weeks but to know the container will extend the life of produce for a few days to a week is such a relief!

These units sealed well and the pump was easy and efficient to use. Would have given this item 5 stars until I dropped one of the containers at a height of about 30". I discovered that the plastic cracked and thus the vacuum sealing integrity was no longer. Still can use the container as a general container as no chips fell out but hell of a bummer to realize that these containers can crack so easily.

These containers keep anything I put in them so much fresher!! I wish they made some smaller ones for small portions. I have several sizes and use them all of the time. Put strawberries cut up in them and in a week they still look the same!! Quality plastic that so far has not yellowed and is quite strong.

Everytime I use these (often) I always wonder if I'm going to vaccum too hard and Crack the plastic. They have held up under pressure (literally) so far
