I was rather put off teak oil for protecting my patio furniture owing to all the warnings about spontaneous combustion which is due to the linseed oil apparently. As if that wasn't enough, you seem to need an awful lot of this dangerous and expensive substance to do the job. In search of another way I came across this stuff which pudding basins import from the USA. It's somewhere between orange oil and vaseline, comes out like orange smelling jelly with a whiff of petrol about it. You need something like a microfibre cloth to apply it with, brushes use too much and other cloths leave a lot of fluff on your furniture. Goes on fairly easy, just make sure you give it a couple of days in the sun to dry else you risk waxing everyones clothes as well! I've put 3 coats on my 6 chairs and large oval table now and i've used about half the bottle. After a few weeks the rain still beads off and the wood grain still looks lovely. You need to reapply this more often than teak oil (a couple of times each summer apparently) but given the price, coverage and safety this looks like a better way.

This is a brilliant, natural, product, it nourished the wood on my garden seat and was quick and easy to use; would definitely recommend it.

Used this product on my outdoor furniture. Gives a rich finish to the teak wood without a sticky residue. Will buy again.

Greasy as anything but really brings out the wood, I'm sure most of it seemed to wash off after 6-7 months but the wood was proper neglected so maybe it just needs more. I treated 4 chairs and a table and had plenty spare.

Very impressed. We had a varnished outside door which had become horribly dull and almost matt in appearance. I had tried a polish before but this gave no benefit. Our painter had expressed scepticism that the door could be improved without sanding away the existing varnish. My wife came across reviews of this product and we thought it worth a try. We were amazed to find our door restored to former glories. The colour is rich clear, the horrible dullness has been removed. It wasn't even hard to apply. I don't do many reviews but this product deserves recommendation.

Used this on garden bench so only time will tell but it is very pleasant to use and not messy.

Love this. So much easier to apply to my outside wood than varnish. Smells lovely and good waterproofing. May need to apply more often than varnish but it's so quick and easy. I won't have a problem with that.

I was fully prepared to sand and re-stain a wooden front door that had been damaged by water. I thought I’d give this a try before I did that and I am blown away. It looks like my door is brand new, like the day I first stained it. I applied it a few weeks ago and it still looks great. I did two double doors and it didn’t even use a quarter of the bottle. Highly, highly recommend! So easy to use. Immediate results.

It made my severely faded, dried out, teak balcony chairs look great.

Our cedar furniture hadn’t been cleaned in 2 years and had faded. After scrubbing with Murphy oil soap and water and drying you can see the faded color and the wood was dry. This product was easy to apply and brought the color and wood grain back and moisturized the wood. Even after drying the beauty remains. Took almost an entire bottle to do 2 rockers and small table. I have ordered a second bottle for some other pieces. Very happy with the results!! Has almost no smell- just a hint of orange which I find pleasant. On photos left side without product and right side after product on for 1 day.
