Adventurer Lighter Compass Blk

Lasted a couple of years with very little use, then fizzle. it won't light. I see spark, I hear gas, I see no flame. Bummer because it was nice while it worked. Refilled and emptied it twice. Oh well.

This was my backup fire starting equipment on a recent backpacking trip above 8600 feet. When my stove's igniter failed I confidently pulled out my Solo Adventure lighter. What a disappointment. Absolutely useless. No flame, no heat just a pretty case. The lighter is brand new and only works at sea level. I normally don't review equipment, but feel an obligation in this case. This lighter is dangerous if you are counting on it in an emergency.
