No color flash whatsoever. Removed the clear stone with yellow outter edges from the bag of oil , rinsed it off and put it in room temp water to get it ready to cut, the next morning I opened the container and it was shattered into unusable pieces of junk. Don’t buy from them. It’s a scam

Not even close to description
This was a piece of opaque opal with zero flash and zero color to it. No fire and zero color no matter the angle. I wasn’t expecting anything crazy but what I got is so horrible.

Stone was not an opal, instead it looked like a piece of amber, coated with some type of fragrant oil.

These rough opals are not worth purchasing.
I was very unimpressed and very disappointed with the two I purchased. Don’t waste your money. There are other sellers on Amazon that do have really nice and vibrant rough opals that are much much better than the ones from this seller.
