Trickier to use than it should be
Bought to secure a shed to which multiple people needed access, a combination padlock seemed like an ideal solution. This was from a well-known brand and was labelled as weatherproof. Setting the new code is easy enough using the tool supplied (or a paperclip if you lose it). The challenge is in actually managing to line up the combination wheels on'ce the lock is in use. The wheels themselves are virtually smoot, providing very little purchase to turn them and requiring a surprising degree of precision to line them up. WE'll see how it goes, but I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up getting replaced for another brand that's a bit more use-friendly. At the asking price (~£15) it's not as good as it should be.

Works OK but could be better.
Easy to use, easy to defeat though, it's as good as combo padlocks get, plastic button on bottom normally breaks off after a while, especially if it's dropped, I've had several of these over the past few years and they normally last about a year, one jammed shut and had to be cut off, However I've tried most of the other combo padlocks available and there are about the best available. I would like a better stronger lock but so far not found one.

Rusted shut within two months of winter weather
I was massively disappointing that this lock couldn't stand up to the winter weather as it was meant to be an outdoor product and was bought for a shared garden. We had to get an angle grinder to remove it as bolt cutters wouldn't do the trick, not only because of the metal guard but because it certainly is strong. The angle grinder did the trick but the fact it was needed at all isn't good. We went for an expensive lock thinking it would last, it didn't. I'm guessing rust because the screw that needs removed to set the code was rusted and it would follow that this could have found its way inside, perhaps preventing the button from depressing fully or stopping the elements from freely moving inside. Either way, I wouldn't use it outside or anywhere damp.

Brilliant lock
This is a tough lock and feels solid and should last through the winter - but time will tell .Had all sorts of weather so far and no problems - would definitely buy this lock again if I needed another one .

Would not unlock
Disappointed. Bought two of these. Followed instructions to set a new code on both locks (same code). Tested them off the door, all working. Put them on the doors, tested, all working - twice. A day later, and one of the locks refused to open. Spent an hour trying to persuade it to unlock with the code, or the original - nada, not happening. A friend tried too. No dice. Fortunately had a disc cutter, so had to use that to cut thru the the shackle and gain access - didn't take long either (20-30 seconds maybe). Sent both back to Amazon as can't trust them to actually work. Rubbish. Off to find some reviews of a better lock...

Good sturdy lock
Easy to use. Solid and sturdy so very secure. If using outside it has weathered a bit and gone a bit rusty, just means you need to clean it up every now and then. Doesn’t effect use.

Solid
Great product, I did a lot of research trying to find a decent enough padlock to secure my valuables and this doesn’t disappoint, I can’t understand why others who wrote bad reviews have had so much trouble, it’s super easy to use, it’s obvious you have to line the numbers up to open it, and if it gets a Little stuck due to the good old British weather give it a little squirt of WD40 simples.

Good if you have small fingers
Unfortunately the advertising for this item made it appear much larger, when it arrived it turned out to be the sort of lock you could put on a suitcase
