Great bread and tortillas
Highly recommend and will continue buying. It is somewhat pricey but worth it because I have to be on a low carb diet and I would miss my bread otherwise. Very good bread and tortillas, I love the taste and do not miss regular bread at all. Thank you Halo for a great product. If the price increases I will stop buying it. I don’t need or would miss bread that much. It does freeze well but lasts along time unfrozen. So disappointed though to hear from reviews that it is not keto or diabetic friendly as being advertised. Thought this was a reputable company but I guess not. Sorry but I won’t be buying their products any longer. If you receive food products or supplements that are expired or damaged don’t let that automated message you get while trying to contact customer service that states, “Nonreturnable and non refundable “ stop you from going on to contact a real person from Amazons customer service. This is not right that people have to accept expired or damaged products and simply lose their money. I have made Amazon aware of this problem and they assured me that they were unaware of this problem and was going to do something about it. I find that hard to believe from all of the thousands of bad recviews regarding this issue that they were unaware but here’s hoping they will do something about it. So, don’t give up until you are able to chat with a real person on Amazon’s customer service.

Taste great and low carbs
This bread is absolutely delicious and soft. It has the lowest carbs I’ve been able to find for my mostly keto diet. I’ve tried the white bread which I love and I love the seeded bread also. It’s worth the price to me because of the ingredients and it stays fresh. I’ve also frozen this bread and it’s still taste great. The tortillas are also a good quality and taste great even after freezing. if you try it, I betting that you will love it. Check grocery stores as I’ve heard some are carrying it now

Expensive but taste is good and doesn't cause glucose spike
Hero products is probably the best product we found last year that we can eat and not experience a glucose spike. I'm not sure how they do it but the texture and taste is as good or better than the regular product. They also strive to not use a lot of unnecessary ingredients and use olive oil instead of seed oils.I sure wish they would get a croissant product.

Flavor and texture at the top of the game, some drawbacks
I've been on a hunt for decent low-carb bread for a long time, such that I've even experimented with making my own. I've been happy to see that recently more low-carb bread options have been appearing on the market, and in some ways the Hero bread is the best I know of.The bread:To start with, the flavor and texture of their loaf bread products are *excellent*. I think there are plenty of brands out there at this point that I still haven't checked out, but Hero is a clear winner among those I've tried. I think this is a really good bread, whether you care about carbs or not. It's soft without being too airy; substantial without being tough or chewy like some protein-heavy breads. However -- let's be serious about the shape of the loaf and the slices. If you're trying to make a sandwich out of this bread with cold cuts and cheese slices, you're going to find it difficult to work with. Take another look at those product photos of just the plain bread with nothing on it. The real slices are really shaped like that (in my case slightly worse). These are wide and very short loaves. The pictures showing a slice with food on it seem very unlike what I received, like they had to stretch the bread vertically, perhaps in photo editing software. The bread I got is much more like the other pictures here, awkwardly squat. Many of the slices also have large holes, so sandwiches with loose fillings (tuna, pimento cheese, etc) or plenty of condiments tend to be messy. These biscotti-shaped bread slices seem intended more for dipping in your soup than making sandwiches. (Did that with some tomato basil the other day, FWIW -- quite good!)Even with the above, we should note that Hero is way ahead of some of its older competition, even with regard to size. Low carb bread has long been the domain of silly, almost pointlessly undersized loaves that you can't really do anything with. I'm glad to see brands like Hero trying to change that trend. The tortillas:Again, the flavor of the tortillas is very good. My overall impression of other characteristics seems to be the opposite of the loaf bread though. The good news is that relative to other low-carb tortillas I've tried, these tortillas are a nearly perfect size; they're large enough to actually be useful for making wraps. Some other low-carb brands offer larger sizes, but at carb counts that make them less suitable for keto. With these you can have a decent-size tortilla and very low carbs at the same time. However -- I found the texture to be a little less competitive. To be clear, these are NOT bad tortillas. They're fine, and I don't mind them at all. But compared to other products (eg. Mission Carb Balance, and plenty of others I've found that are very similar), the Hero tortillas are just a bit ... rubbery. They stretch like elastic, they're a bit ... "sticky", and in fact they're actually quite difficult to separate from each other without damaging them. The trick that works with most brands, flexing the entire stack inside the bag a few times, doesn't work on these. You'll find yourself very carefully peeling them away from each other so as not to pull the tortillas themselves apart. The rubbery stretchiness actually has a benefit though -- if you're eating a wrap with a lot of stuff in it, that stuff is less likely to poke a hole in the tortilla.Overall, Hero has a really good product line if perhaps a bit expensive, and I think this bundle is a good way to try out what they have to offer.

Taste 10/10
The taste and texture is spot on. It’s just like “regular” bread and flour tortillas. But the fiber. So much!!!! It causes me a lot of gas and bloating. Enough that I am not going to finish what I bought. Too much discomfort. I’ve tried several OTC gas and bloating supplements but they don’t help. You’ve been warned :)

The BEST keto bread and tortillas EVER!!
I purchased the triple threat bundle. I can't believe I waited so long to try Hero bread in the first place! I started with the seeded bread. It is wonderful! Tastes exactly like regular bread to me! I used it for toast, grilled cheese and the regular bread I used for some French toast. I couldn't believe how delicious it was! I've been doing keto for 2 years and have buying keto bread and tortillas from Walmart, Aldis etc. But no more! Hero has won me over! I also ordered from their site, the Hawaiian rolls!! Those are heavenly! My daughter is picky with her bread, but we were making party rolls one afternoon so I made her and her husband regular Hawaiian rolls and made her taste mine after they were cooked. She said wow! I see why you rave about these rolls! She couldn't tell a difference between their regular ones and my Hero ones! I know they're a little pricey, but doing keto I death bread every day. I freeze half a loaf and with the tortillas, they freeze well too! The tortillas are just like regular ones to me too. Much better tasting and softer than the other brands, in my honest opinion. If you're on the fence about trying them, don't wait any longer! Try them now and find out what you've been missing!!
