I had my doubts but this little light is impressive. I'm using is as supplemental lighting for a chicken coop. It lasts 5-6hrs after sunset which is exactly what I was looking for.One thing I didn't glean from the description was that the solar panel connects to the light using USB so you could use any USB battery to power/recharge the bulb in a pinch. Very nice.

I tested this out the first day I got it. I Fully charged it by micro usb phone charger. The bulb turned blue when it was done charging. I had this on for 9 hours and 26 Minutes on the lowest light setting. While occasionally turning it to bright for brief times. And it still had charge. Great for small to medium sized rooms in emergency type situations, camping, etc... Love the fact I can change/upgrade battery. I can see what I need to. And the Solar panel works. 5 stars

First, it says the cord is 3m long. That's about 9 ft. I held it up to myself (5'7") and it went only to my shoulders. More like 4 ft (1.2m). That already screwed me as I was installing this in a shed and needed that cord length. It does charge well and has been working for the past few weeks, but I'm still ticked about the cord thing. Also, the on/off button got stuck after pressing it once and it kept cycling through all the light options. I had to pry it a bit to get it unstuck.So far, the panel has been waterproof as I have it outside. I wouldn't call the light bright. It lights up the shed enough for me to see, but it's not something I'd use as a reading light.

I have 2 barns with no electric. And once winter came i found i really needed more light when doing my morning rounds. These little guys saved my life. I bought 2 and man are the powerful! I keep one in my coop and one in my goats barn. The charge lasts a really long time ever in the cold. I only run them while i am in there before work and then turn them back off. So like 15-30 minutes a day. My goats chewed up the chords for theirs so i do have to swap them back and forth to the charger. But that’s not very often. Had one weird incident where i couldn’t get it to turn off. But the morning the battery died i charged it back up and it was fine!

Purchased this light for emergency lighting purposes and today almost a year later it was used for several hours due to a power outage. It had maintained a full charge since January 2018. I like the diffused light as it made doing tasks around the house easier without the glare of flashlight like bulbs and it was easy on the eyes for reading. Also recharged in overcast conditions after power restored. I think it is a keeper and will probably purchase another in the near future.

I was very disappointed in this product. Solar cell does not look water proof and two small wires are hanging from it looks to be a problem in time.The lamp is not auto turn on when getting dark.I think this lamp is well designed for kids on camping trips or some for children for learning tool on solar energy.

Don't get me wrong, the light works well, it's just not as bright as I thought it was going to be. BUT in an emergency, it will do the trick. It did take some time to fully charge, and it only held the charge for about 14 days, still worked by it was pretty dim. Cost verse effectiveness? I'd buy it again knowing what to expect now.
