This mask performs as well as more expensive professional masks. It is lightweight and not too sturdy but if you handle it with care it does the job.

This is an amazing helmet for your shop welder all the way up to the pro welder!!The main view window is large and clear, with only a slight glare on the clear face sheild. The two green side windows are very nice for finding tools or materials on your sides. The SINGULAR downside to this helmet is the forehead control. It's clunky and impossible to change with gloves on, and the helmet needs to be fully removed to change any settings. A small wired remote or a different method of changing settings would be far better. Maybe an app would work great! For this reason I recommend NOT buying this helmet!

I feel like I got my moneys worth. Wanted a little more field of a vision. Clarity is nice, no complaints. Instructions are good. Controls, Battery department and lenses are easily accessible so I feel like maintenance won't be a chore. No comment on longevity yet. Only have slight concern for the sensitivity adjustment. The first 80% of it does almost nothing in day light looking right up into the sun or my shop light. The last 20% is most of the fine tuning. I'm not sure if its cause for concern or not. I'm not too impressed with the delay over my $30 dollar bargain brand helmet. It lightens up nearly instantly after a weld and I still have to hold my hand up or look away as the metal cools from bright red over 2 seconds. My other helmet would keep dark until the pool cooled a couple of seconds. As far as reaction time, spot on, no worries of an arc flash to the eyes.That being said, I feel like the features, clarity, fit, ease of working on justify the money spent. Maybe mine didn't have the best QC, or its just working as intended, but I'll round it up from 3.5 to 4 stars, not quite a 3.

Husband really is enjoying this helmet, works perfect and with a great price.

My job requires me to do an hour or two of welding each day. I didn't want to get an expensive Hood when I don't use it all that much. I took a chance and grabbed this one and I couldn't have made a better choice. It has an extremely large viewing area, multiple adjustments so that you can customize how you want to view the arc, and it's very comfortable with the large ratchet adjustment strap in the back and the two head saddles inside. My only issue is that I'm having trouble finding replacement lenses for the front curved lens but other than that, this is the perfect Hood for your occasional welder/hobby welder.

True to size, perfect to get job done

If you’re doing heavy duty welding or may be close to the weld area this will not hold up. Only lasted me a month and the head gear kind of broke. It’d be better to spend more money and get something that may last.

I'm quite happy with this product. It functions as well as any mask of similar type. Very responsive, multiple settings for grinding cutting and welding and they just work.Very comparable to masks from $20-120 more than this one of the same type.Head straps are plastic with padding in the right spots. Very adjustable, good support and are sturdy. They may break eventually but used in a reasonable way I can see this mask lasting me a while. Comes with a spare battery and it just works.So far, my first impressions of using it for 3 days for 5-6 hours a day are good ones.

I had purchased a cheaper HZXVOGEN welding helmet from Amazon which did not work, had no supplier contact information, and for some reason could not be returned, however the money was refunded by Amazon. I purchased the TOOLIOM welding helmet which was a bit more expensive, and am delighted with this product and customer support. The TOOLIOM welding helmet comes with a self darkening feature (ADF) AND works perfectly, is very comfortable, better quality and comes with spare battery, replacement lenses and battery test feature. The instructions were fairly good but did not show how the ADF is removed in order to replace the battery (for future maintenance). I contacted TOOLIOM and within two hours, I had a comprehensive explanation with pictures, of how to disassemble the ADF from the mask, and how to replace the battery. I am very pleased with the support from TOOLIOM, as well as the welding helmet and the customer service support from Amazon. The moral of the story is: “You get what you pay for”.
