I found these to be much better than the mettle will only use these going forward

if your looking for something to hold a tarp down they do the job but a couple broke after a few days. May be better off buying a length of bunjy rope and threading it through.

Great for providing tension on a tarpaulin.
I bought these to provide tension on a tarpaulin that I am covering my outdoor wooden table and chairs with. When there is a sudden gust of wind, the bungees provide some give so that the force on the tarpaulin eyelets is gradual, rather than being snatched by the strong wind.
