Stunningly sexy, sexy boots!
These are probably the most gorgeous Fly boots I've ever had. The usual amazing quality soft pliable leather, in a dark aubergine colour which looks great with black jeans or leggings. The fit was perfect for me - I'm a size 4 and only 5ft (152cm) tall. The widest part of my calves often means knee high boots aren't suitable due to the shaping, whereas these just hug in all the right places. The laces ARE adjustable (unlike what previous reviewers said), they are simply tied behind the tongue, so you can refasten them if you need a little more room in the calf area. The arch is very supportive, which is great for when you actually want to walk in them rather than just stand there lookng cool ;) The toe area is nicely rounded so it won't pinch your little piggies. Fly London are honestly the most gorgeously made boots I've come across in a long time. My last ones survived 5 years, wearing them almost every day - so don't worry about the cost. They'll be with you well into the future.

Excellent out of boots all round
I was very nervous about buying Fly boots having read a lot of reviews saying they leak and are not weather proof. I livein the Scottish Borders so keeping my feet warm and dry is a priority. I tried a pair on in store and they felt immediately comfortable. After debating a few more weeks and not liking any of the similar boots I did order, I decided to go for it and order them as they were about £30 cheaper than in store.I absolutely love these boots. They didn’t need any wearing in, were immediately comfortable and I wore them for a day out and about with absolutely no discomfort. They have been worn in the wet and light snow and did not leak. They look amazing with dresses, skinny jeans and under my boot cut jeans. I loved them so much that I bought the shorter pair in black and the slip on Salv boots for work.I truly struggle to find shoes that are comfortable as I have wide feet but narrow heels and a wide calf. The laces allow me to adjust the width to thin socks or thicker leg warmers while maintaining absolute comfort. They are not hiking boots and are therefore not going to be suitable for all outdoor walking conditions. But as a smart or casual daily boot they are the best i’ve Ever owned.

Wonderful! Buy them!
These are honestly the most beautiful boots I have ever owned! Such a gorgeous colour, thick beautiful leather, and very comfortable from the first wear! They ooze quality! I highly recommend treating yourself, after all YOLO!One small thing I would say though is they mark quite easily, but buy yourself some good quality red polish and waterproof them before you wear them and it's not a problem. I ADORE them!!(The photos are after me wearing them for a couple of weeks)

I waited 40 years for these
Many years ago when I was a student, I craved green boots exactly like these, seen in a fashionable shop window in Kensington, beautiful but way beyond my means. So when I saw these I thought it was time my wish was fulfilled! And I'm delighted with them. They fit exactly, snug but not tight; really comfortable even on first wearing. They are sturdy but not too heavy. And they look fantastic. The tongue is sewn in at one side so it doesn't slip around. Some boots are tight on my calves, but these are fine. I do find the laces slip out of the hooks when I unzip them - I'm tempted to nip the hooks a little tighter to stop this happening.I've ordered some green shoe cream, I want to keep them in good condition now I finally have them!

My favourite boots!
I already owned the purple version of these boots, and when I saw that the petrol ones were half price, I couldn't resist.I bought my purple ones when I was a very tiny (dress) size 6. I was very skinny, and had bony feet. They easily laced up tight enough to keep my feet and legs secure. Since then, I have developed a medical condition that causes pretty severe oedema (and gone up to a larger 10). My feet get huge, and I can't even bend my toes. Thankfully, this style of boot is lace up and zip up, and I was able to loosen the laces enough to fit my giant, swollen feet inside them, and they don't feel tight or uncomfortable at all. I imagine that I would struggle to lace them to the top if they got any bigger, but I don't think this would be possible outside of some kind of accident or genetic defect, and thankfully most of the upper boot uses hooks so it isn't necessary to lace them all the way up.As for length, I'm a size 7 or 8. I have to try on all shoes before I buy them. In Rocket Dog, a 7 squished my toes and I had to go up to an 8, but in Fly London, a 7 is comfortable and roomy around the toes. A 6 would definitely be too small for me. I'd say they fit as expected. These boots are instantly comfortable, unlike Dr Martens for example which require breaking in. They do scuff quite easily, but a nice buff with some leather cream will restore them if you don't appreciate the grunge look. Both the purple and petrol are stunning colours, and I'd really like to get my hands on the blue version too. These are my absolute favourite boots and I will keep buying and wearing them for as long as Fly London make them.
