Although the film is very predictable from a core plot perspective, the characters were well established, the acting was excellent and the writers did a fantastic job!If I was to lay fault with anything, only because having been a single parent for many years, it just really gets my goat when time after time christmas films in particular represent single Mom's living in a house that would be virtually impossible in real life! I mean seriously, Christine waltzes into an unknown town as a waitress and happens to rent an entire house? Yeah...not! As well, the nerve of them to represent a dead beat father who would actually be fighting for custody of his kids? Are you serious? The writers have clearly never been single parents! The very second the Father didn't pay child support, the Mom would have dragged his ass to court! Don't get me wrong, I loved the story so much I didn't even give a ding for how poorly representative it was from a single parents real life situation. In real life, she would have been renting a 2 room dump Apartment on the other side of the railway tracks if you get my drift! LOL! And as far as the deadbeat father, he would have been nowhere to be found if he was actively avoiding child support. I mean, let's be real and call a spade a spade right? But as far as a Christmas movie, a wonderful one and I highly recommend, just ignore the unrealistic representation of Christine's financial situation...hehehe.

I wanted this dvd in English not German. I only speak English.

It's such a cute movie but I am a big hallmark fan of the past years. Not so much in 2021 and 2022 so I watch my old ones

I loved this movie. The actors are wonderful, esp the main couple. I have not cried watching a movie in a long time but I did watching this one. Is it predictable? Yes. But what do people expect? It's a Hallmark movie but Hallmark rarely makes them like this anymore.

Exactly what I want to watch at the holidays- heartwarming and real, even if a bit of a stretch realistically. I'd take this loving family film over a cheese romance driven drama all day long.

I normally have a heart like a cash register when it comes to sappy movies. I enjoy them for what they are but they always seem contrived. Occasionally, one will cause me to tear up a little. By the end of this one, I had tears streaming down my face and had to take off my glasses because I couldn't see through them. This is a beautiful and moving movie.

As a married man, I am violently forced to watch hallmark films with my wife around the holidays. But I'm glad I watched this film, it was an ALL-AROUND A+ the acting, the dialog, the sets, the cast, the wardrobe, and the acting was the best! MUST WATCH!!!

This is one of my favourite Christmas films so I was so happy to find this dvd, having looked for it for a long time to find it was only for Region 1 and couldn't be played here. Although the language is German you can turn it to English and actually have the original actors speaking. Great find!

Loved this Christmas film when it was on TV, the cast, the story, even got a book it's based on! Looked to buy for years. Was very happy to find this Blu-Ray, it's in German but easily switched back to original English, works fine in UK. Very happy to own it now😃

Been looking for this film on dvd for ages! As it’s a Hallmark film you can’t buy it in England but I finally found it here. You change from German into English on the normal menu by just choosing ‘english’ - v easy. Really good picture and sound quality too.

Absolutely adore this film, so was happy to get a copy instead of waiting for the TV to show it.A little predicable, but very heartwarming all the same. Fantastic Christmas film considering it's quite modern. Great cast too. Will definitely be an annual Christmas watch for years to come!!
