Wonderful video
My children really loved this video. The graphics are great and they loved the story of young Abraham, based on midrashim. Finally there's a video that is high quality but still teaches appropriate values. I would strongly recommend.

This is a great story for the entire family.
Though quite short as movies go, it fills in some very ambiguous biblical bullet point subjects and provides an interesting series of reflections upon Avram as a youth (later Abraham).Interestingly, this story ends where many of the Abrahamic tales begin. Little is known of his origins and early life experiences. The Midrash - a vast series of contextual studies in the medieval period - sort to fill certain gaps and produce extraordinary insights as well as elucidate the finer points of the entire Tanakh.From such a source this animation has done well to bring about a tale of the seeking spirit that "Hashem" saw burn so brightly in this young boy's soul.The animation is adequate for an independent production and does a better job than some big studio films. The dialogue is ok, though in some cases the characters seem to rush through a change of heart faster than humanly possible. Though some characters are really daft, this is aimed at a young audience and so may not seem out of place for the setting. The music works well enough and editing is also good.Overall a good effort and quite enjoyable trying to pick out the well known voices used for each of the characters.
