Best of Rancid for Bass (Play It Like It Is Bass)

I bought this for little brother for Christmas last year. He is very happy with it, says every song is accurate, I am not a rancid fan, but if you are, and want to learn how to play the songs that are listed in this book accurately, then my brother recommends this.

I still can't play it like it is but seems accurate. Matt freeman is amazing!

This is a great book not only to learn Freeman's lines but to improve your bass playing skills.

I purchased this book a few years ago and have since learned just about every song in it. It has a decent selection of rancid songs including the famous "Maxwell Murder" bass solo, which is spot on. Although I did find a few errors here and there which was a little disappointing. Other than that it is pretty accurate and I definitely recommend it to any bass player!

Matt Freeman is one of the most underated/unkown bass players to anyone not a Rancid fan. His style drives the band. Beginners don't be afraid, just give it a shot.
